The location was perfect with amazing sea views and walks to local beaches and coastal pathways nearby. The host was very helpful and responsive with queries we had about the property. The cottage was rustic with a large garden and a separate sun room with views out to sea.
Beautiful cottage in an amazing location. From the moment we started down Harbour road towards this beautiful cottage we knew we were in for a wonderful time. The hosts were great at communication and provided all the amenities we needed. We are already talking about a return trip in the future and we will not hesitate to stay here again!
We loved our stay ar Ballintoy Harbour. The cottage is very cosy and well equipped - the outstanding feature is a fabulous sunroom in the garden with amazing views. We spent wonderful long evenings there or on the beaches right outside the front door. Absolutely perfect.
We had such a lovely stay. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. The location is fabulous and we really enjoyed the garden and outdoor space and so did our dog. The views from the garden room are amazing and the nearby coastal walks are lovely. A great base to discover the wonderful North Coast; and also a special place to just chill out and relax.
Cosy cottage with amazing views, especially from the sun room. It was lovely waking up to the sound of the ocean. Beautiful walks from the cottage. We enjoyed it so much we've booked it again.
Location Location Location, this is heaven on earth. Walks, swims and relaxation, we throughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is just perfect, has everything you require. The sunroom has amazing views and the rear of the house is quiet and secluded. We could not recommend it enough.
This OLD cottage is rustic, busting with character and feels like home the minute you walk through the door. It's location makes it hard to leave, even to visit the rest of this amazing island.
Can not wait to return.
Missed out on the use of a fantastic garden due to weather, but watching waves crashing over the rocks was mesmerising. If the weather had been better we would've been in our element. Cottage itself was clean, comfortable and cosy, maybe a wee bit tired looking but it certainly wouldn't put me off returning or recommending to family and friends.
Lovely warm, cosy cottage in the most idyllic setting. We had everything we needed for a perfect week. Plenty of towels, comfie beds, fully equipment kitchen. Dog friendly too, we stayed with our 3 dogs. Picturesque setting, stepped out of the front door and a couple of steps to the beach. Beautiful walks around Ballintoy and up to Whitepark Bay. Lovely local pub, also dog friendly. We had a perfect week, thank you Turlough

A lovely home in a peaceful place.
We had a lovely holiday in Ballintoy Harbour. The house was lovely, the garden a wonderful place for the children to play in and the summer house was lovely for the autumn sunsets.
The owners were generous with items left in the house for us and the addition of the play loft was also appreciated by all of us.
It was lovely being so close to the sea, in a secluded location, away from any hustle and bustle. The while family loved this house and we're already talking about a return visit.
We were very pleased with our stay. The property is as advertised and the conditions at the mountain were great. We found that to get to the mountain it is best to drive and pay for parking or to drive to the free Stinson lot (couple miles) and take the bus. Our only suggestion is that the kitchen could use some additional glasses particularly wine glasses.
My husband and I eloped at Dunluce Castle in May, we stayed at this cottage with 4 of our friends and family for 5 days before the wedding. When I tell you it was the perfect place, everyone in our group adored it, it is right on the beach. As we drove down the windy road to the house we thought at first we missed it, surely it can’t be that close to the water but it was and it was stunning. Our first day there we explored the beaches and hiked along the path. It was close to great restaurants and a short drive from things like the rope bridge and causeway coast. I think even if we had stayed in the cottage or on the beach the whole five days it would’ve been fine, it’s the perfect place to spend a cozy night in making memories with your loved ones. I loved this place and hope to be back one day, it made our first trip to Northern Ireland a special one, and made our wedding day all the more magical. I’d highly recommend if you want a picturesque setting for your next vacation.
Very poor accommodation with an accident waiting to happen
Bunk bed broken, child had to sleep on matter on floor. Kitchen cupboards filthy, matresses extremely uncomfortable need replacing. Outside at the back need a lot of attention as there are loose handrail and decomposing wooded steps. The place is in a fabulous location, however the premises needs a complete overhaul in order to have a pleasant stay. We left 2 days wary of a four day planned stay. I sent messages to both owners numbers to make them aware of the situation, and 2 days later I still have not heard from them, therefore I am writing this review.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Beautiful and wild location but cottage needs maintenance.
This cottage is in a stunning location but has seen better days and was in need of a thorough clean. We loved the location with all the views, beaches and the garden and sunroom but the accommodation was cramped for 4 adults and 2 children. The bedrooms were comfortable except that there wasn't enough storage and living out our suitcases for 5 days was not enjoyable. You could easily put wardrobes in all the bedrooms. You couldn't fit 6 of us around the living room table and the kitchen was not big enough to cook in for us all. I made a fry up and I struggled to cook with the table and chairs out and no useable oven. The oven was honestly disgusting. I opened the dirty door to find 2 glass dishes with bits of food in them. We opened a drawer of the air fryer and found it full of grease. Also the dust and cobwebs in the corridors and living room were bad. At least 2 of the chairs were rickety and unsafe for adults to sit on. It was such a shame but everything seemed tired and in need of an update. Our daughters loved the garden and walks right on our doorstep and it was great we had a washing machine and tumble dryer but the cottage was disappointing. We couldn't get regular tv channels to work and I ended up logging in to netflix to get something for the kids to watch. Overall we were glad we spent most of our time out and about exploring the county.
Amazing location and breathtaking views!! Everything was perfect for our first visit to Ireland to watch our daughter get married at Dunluce Castle!!Right on the waters edge and close to some great restaurants. There were so many great sites and places to visit close by. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!
Brilliant as usual. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage.
