We had a lovely, peaceful and relaxing stay at this well-located resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit as were the other guests we met staying there. The easy access to the ever-changing beach is fantastic for long walks, exploration and being mesmerized by the ocean's surf and sounds.The sunsets were gorgeous, and the grounds and pool area were beautifully landscaped with palms and bougainvillea, evoking the atmosphere of much earlier times. Because it is an older, rustic resort compared to the modern, condo-filled towers going up all around, the amenities matched its age. The Villa was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Since the restaurant was closed most of the time we were there, we had to dine out or cook. It was quite easy to flag a bus wherever we needed to go. We would return should we plan another trip to Mazatlan.
