This romantic private cabin suite sets amidst a larger cabin villa. You have your own private entrance, private porch and private accommodations. Cradled by a magical wooded area on a breathtaking 10-acre farm, this treasure of a suite boasts an open floor plan furnished to beautiful standards with a 25-foot cathedral ceiling lined with log beams. A stunning log-beamed wall as the focal point of the suite, and a plush queen-size bed in the sleeping nook, it accommodates two guests. The bed offers a tranquil night's sleep with soft luxurious sheets, luxury bedding, and fluffy pillows. After an epic day of guided tours, hiking or zip lining, guests can unfurl in the intimate 2-person Jacuzzi tub nestled in the full bathroom. Enjoying the relaxation will come easy with the modern facilities available.

Slipping on the plush bathrobes and sinking into the cushion-strewed plush sofa is an ideal way to end the day. The living room features a glass front gas fireplace that'll warm up the suite in the depths of winter and set the mood for a romantic escape. Complete with a flat-screen TV with over 200 channels and ideal nook to get lost in a novel, there is ample indoor entertainment for guests. With a modest kitchenette that offers a microwave, a small refrigerator, a toaster oven, and a coffee maker, guests will have what they need to prepare delicious snacks and be treated to the lodge breakfast for a nominal fee.
Outdoors, there's a private porch perfect for quiet contemplation and admiring of the natural surroundings. Furnished with a table and chairs and a porch swing, comfort, and peace are readily available during this romantic getaway.

Charming stay in rural Ohio

We loved our stay at Heartland Country Resort. This property is in heart of some of the most scenic parts of Ohio. Our suite was well appointed, quiet, cozy and very clean. What gives this place lots of charm are the wide variety of animals to visit on the farm. A perfect getaway.

Perfect!

Every detail was perfect for our stay! Our suite was immaculately clean with everything we could possibly need. I had some questions after the booking and called Laurie, she was SO nice and more than happy to talk to me on the phone and ensure that all of my questions were answered. We will definitely be back!

Quiet little getaway

This was such a nice place to stay for a long weekend. Had a lovely time in our cozy cottage with all the amenities. Took advantage of the fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Loved seeing and petting all the animals at the petting zoo. I personally loved Ranger the Racoon who let me feed him! Highly recommend this off the beaten path just outside Amish Country in Ohio.

Wonderful surprise

My son and I came for race weekend and I found the Serenity Suite on VRBO as it was 20 minutes from the Mid-Ohio racetrack. The hosts avail a petting zoo to guests which wasn't clear to me from the listing but a wonderful surprise. We enjoyed meeting Jim and some of the other guests, and hanging out with the many animals on the farm who seem to get along in perfect harmony (perhaps excepting Elvis the peacock who likes to boss around the chickens). The property was modern with a rustic flair, impeccably clean, well appointed, and well maintained. Laurie texted me before, during, and after our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. In conclusion, our visit to Serenity Suite made our father/son trip to the racetrack so much more memorable. I know where we will stay on our next trip back to Mid-Ohio!

First romantic getaway

Beautiful cabin. Loved the fireplace! We couldn’t get the jet/jacuzzi to work but still had a great time.

It was the second time they had considered purchasing Heartland and decided this was the right time to embark upon the realm of resort ownership. Together, the couple with their almost 20 years of business ownership experience and customer service, are taking the resort to a whole new level so it can continue to be a special place for others to experience and fall in love with just as they did.

There is just something so peaceful, magical and relaxing about Heartland Country Resort, it's next to impossible to put it into words. One thing is for sure, once you are here, you won't want to leave!
