Gorgeous Gite with amazing pool!

We loved our stay at Claudine and GĂ©rard's gite. They meet us upon arrival and everything went very smoothly. GĂ©rard showed us around the gorgeous apartment which looks brand new and has every kitchen utensil you could ever need. The air con is a real plus in bedrooms and lounge/kitchen area but the real treat is the large very clean gorgeous swimming pool. We had full use of this every day and the kids thoroughly enjoyed and loved the floats and toy balls that were also supplied. The location was great for rest and relaxation but we were glad we stayed nearer to Sarlat for a week beforehand as much better for all the Dordoyne activities/sights on offer. You could still reach all from here but longer driving times of 45/50mins. It was perfect for us as we wanted a chilled week and not do too much. Visiting Bergerac and Perigord was nice. We would 100% recommend this accomodation, also has a lovely little town 5 min drive away for local restaurant and bakery. GĂ©rard and Claudine were very nice to deal with, thank you for a great stay!

Amazing accommodation, beautiful location

This accommodation was absolutely perfect for us. Set in beautiful French countryside with plenty of space and an amazing pool to relax beside. The gĂ­te was fantastic, cleaned and furnished to a really high standard with everything we needed and more. There is a table tennis table in the cellar, which the children really enjoyed. Comfortable beds, great air conditioning and a very modern and perfectly equipped kitchen. The pool is lovely. Set slightly away from the gĂ­te, it had a great wooden sun shelter which provided some shade and a very useful fridge, loungers and inflatables for using in the pool. The children particularly thought the pool was brilliant. It was kept immaculately clean during our stay. The whole place is great and we thank Claudine and GĂ©rard for sharing such a lovely spot. They were available if needed, but allowed us our own space and privacy at all times. The location was ideal for exploring the local area. Restaurants in nearby village and easy access to the Dordogne. We’d love to return again one day, thank you! Stefan,Jo, Harry and Molly

Nous étions un couple avec un autre adulte et avons trouvé le logement excellent, avec une belle cuisine moderne, des appareils électroménagers haut de gamme et un hÎte trÚs sympathique et serviable. La propriété est située dans la campagne magique de la Dordogne, avec vue sur un chùteau ! Tout est trÚs propre et moderne, mais conserve de magnifiques éléments historiques. Le stationnement est trÚs facile. Un inconvénient : la nécessité de louer des draps et des serviettes, ce que nous n'avions pas signalé sur le site web. C'était donc une dépense supplémentaire inattendue, car il était impossible de faire venir des draps d'Amérique du Nord.

Nice house in calm environment

We enjoyed our stay in the house a lot.The house was very tidy and has a nice garden with shade. The kitchen is fully equipped (no spices etc though). The beds were comfortable. And of couse Gerard and Claudine are very nice hosts!

Havre de paix

Les hĂŽtes sont trĂšs accueillants et en mĂȘme temps trĂšs discrets. Le gĂźte est mieux que sur les photos avec un Ă©quipement cinq Ă©toiles. Calme et repos sont les maĂźtres mots. La piscine Ă  usage privatif est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e et toujours en plein soleil pour que la tempĂ©rature de l’eau soit idĂ©ale. Notre sĂ©jour s’est dĂ©roulĂ© Ă  merveille. Sans oublier les innombrables activitĂ©s et visites que la situation gĂ©ographique du gite permet. Merci Ă  Claudine et GĂ©rard. Caroline et Laurent

A perfect location

The gite was situated in the grounds of Claudine and Gerard’s home. The scenery was beautiful all around. Extremely peaceful and the perfect ‘get away’ for a relaxing break. Suitable for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of work! Teenagers who may enjoy an active holiday may struggle at this location, but the beautiful and well maintained pool will provide hours of family fun. The gite was extremely well equipped, exactly as noted in the details on the website. Everything was new and spotlessly clean. Bedding and towels were provided at an additional cost and through liaison with Claudine. There was a cleaning cost of €60 at the end of our stay. Sainte-Foy-de-Longas has no real amenities but 5km away the little village Sainte Alvere has an Epicerie and delightful Patisserie & Boulangerie. We would definitely return! Thank you Claudine and Gerard.

TrĂšs belle maison de vacances pour la famille

Nous venons d’Angleterre pour les vacances et nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs beau sĂ©jour au gĂźte situĂ© au beau terrain. GĂ©rard et Claudine Ă©taient trĂšs accueillent et rĂ©actifs. La piscine est parfaite et l’alarme est super pour les petits enfants! L’emplacement Ă©tait calme et parfait, mais aussi facile en voiture pour visiter les villages du PĂ©rigord. Nous avons passĂ© 3 semaines Ă  profiter de cette magnifique propriĂ©tĂ© dans une rĂ©gion qui ne l'est pas moins. Un super gites!

Un accueil tres chaleureux par les propriétaires qui ont pris soin de rendre ce gites confortable et fonctionnel, aliant confort moderne et charme des veilles pierres. Cuisine super equipée, airCo, connections etc sont tout des details qui on rendu notre séjour trÚs agréable. La piscine est immense :-) et bien exposée. Le gites se trouve sur une énorme propriété loin de tout... vous n'y verrez pas un chat... calme assuré, mais se trouve proches de commerces et boulangerie (5km). La région est superbe et offre de belles visites et randos!

Nous avons été enchanté par notre séjour, un coin de paradis dans le calme et la beauté de la région Mr et Mme Vescovo sont trÚs accueillants et d'une grande gentillesse. La maison offre tout le confort ainsi qu'une trÚs belle piscine . Nous recommandons vivement cette location!

Excellent séjour

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. Le logement est particuliÚrement propre et bien entretenu. Les hÎtes nous ont accueilli avec une grande gentillesse. Un lit et une chaise adaptée ont été mis à notre disposition. La piscine est impeccable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la calme dans le jardin et la proximité pour les visites. Un coin de paradis

Un grand merci Ă  Claudine et GĂ©rard pour leur accueil et leurs petites attentions au cours de notre sĂ©jour. Nous avons passĂ© une semaine dans un havre de paix. La maison est trĂšs confortable, bien Ă©quipĂ©e et dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t. Il faisait bon vivre dans ce petit coin de paradis oĂč nous bĂ©nĂ©ficions d'une vue imprenable sur la vallĂ©e. IdĂ©alement placĂ©e pour visiter les nombreux sites touristiques. Nous avons hĂąte de revenir !

Pour les amateurs de calme et tranquillité

Nous avons passé un trÚs agréable séjour. M. et Mme Vescovo sont trÚs accueillants et à l'écoute de leurs locataires. La maison est trÚs confortable et bien équipée. Les "+" : la piscine et la climatisation du logement trÚs appréciables par forte chaleur.
