Sat to Sat weekly rental July and Aug, 4 night minimum stay shoulder season. Front tree lined yard with golf putting chipping area. From sun up until at night when the canopy of stars above in the sky are truly dazzling, this is a relaxing clean nostalgic and arty home that truly reflects what the Outer Cape is. Cozy screened front porch with a Red Sox theme. Open living area downstairs with a sectional couch and recliners ideal for watching games, movies and tv, a bar to stock if so inclined, recliners in a nook looking out to backyard and nature right behind you, and another spot inside close to outside hang out spot close to screen door slider, a fully stocked kitchen w table seats 6+ for board games. New private outdoor shower with changing area. Sleep well in comfy beds surrounded by beautiful nature. Close to some of the Best Rated Beaches In The World. Ample parking, even for a trailered boat. Sheets are not provided but can be rented locally. All bedrooms are on the second floor.

Wonderful week in Wellfleet in a home that was welcoming, clean and peaceful. Backyard is a relaxing oasis. Lounger chairs inside in front of bay window facing yard were a perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or wind down from day with a glass of wine.House is older but well kept and had everything we needed.Contact w owners was very good.Perfect getaway for relaxing vacation.

Fun, quirky place with beautiful yard

We enjoyed our time in this pleasant place. The interior was comfortable and the back deck was a great place to relax and enjoy the summer days and nice. We especially enjoyed sitting in the recliners facing the picture window. We read and watch the birds at the feeders.

We love Wellfleet

The outdoor gardens and seating were wonderful! We also loved the recliners facing the bay windows. Perfect place to read and watch the birds. Kitchen was well equipped, downstairs AC was a lifesaver, outdoor shower was fantastic and we really appreciated having bath and beach towels (less to pack!) to use. We all had a great stay!

Beautiful property

We felt so at home here and had a wonderful week. The yard is gorgeous and private. The new outdoor shower is fantastic! So many additional items making packing so much easier - soap, shampoo, conditioner, plenty of towels and beach towels, condiments, beach chairs. Everything you could possibly need is there. Sharon and Rob are so helpful and very focused on making their renters have an enjoyable time. Thank you so much for making our vacation a great one!

Spacious House with Outdoor Bonus

The house was the perfect size for our group of six. It was roomy and well-stocked with towels and kitchen equipment. The deck provided a peaceful oasis for relaxing and enjoying the birds and flowers. It also was a lovely spot to grill and eat meals outside. The flowers were beautiful and there was plenty of room in the yard, including a place for a firepit. We didn't actually use the firepit, but it was nice to know we had the option. The location also was great -- close to Route 6 but without hearing the traffic. All in all, a great choice for a vacation at the beach.

Great location

Great location. Just super helpful. Remember to bring your own linens. There is an outdoor show which was awesome. The best part is the outside garden. So many birds come to the garden. It is beautiful. Note: upstairs does not have a shower. The only full bath is on the main level. Kitchen is well stocked and also basic supplies. It was very easy to find what we needed. Brita filter with new filter was a really nice touch.

Wellfleet Stay

The property is eclectic but fun. We traveled with two young children and were a little worried about the more fragile decorations, but once we stored them away, it was cozy and very comfortable. The clothes dryer stopped working early into our trip and the owner was unable to get it fixed for the week and a half that remained of our stay — this was disappointing and somewhat inconvenient. The outside shower with the trumpet flower vines is beautiful, though, and we loved watching the hummingbirds in the morning.

As is obvious on the map, the location of this wonderful property is unparalleled. A simple left/right/left brings you to the national seashore and The Beachcomber in minutes, just a short drive to town and its top seafood markets, restaurants and bayside beach (great for wee ones and accessible to injured adults), and equidistant between Provincetown and Chatham. The house itself provides many options for any combination of guests, and we easily accommodated a rotating series of couples and kids throughout the week. The kitchen provided everything needed to prepare full meals, with a large grill on the deck. The deck was our zen place for breakfast and fresh-shucked bags of Wellfleet oysters after a long beach day, with hummingbirds and other colorful birds flying about the richly blooming hanging baskets and specimen plantings. Huge TV for streaming your favorite channels and a firepit in the yard for relaxing and smore making. There’s an honor-system firewood rack less than 1/4 mile away directly on Route 6. Plenty of plush towels and beach chairs and boogie boards, even an umbrella. The owner is very helpful and accessible, sending instant replies to questions with decades of local knowledge. This is one VRBO house we are highly likely to repeat.

Buy fresh Wellfleet oysters at Mac’s Seafood in nearby town and shuck at the house. We also had them steam us 2 lb. lobsters. Perfect.

Bayside “Mayo Beach” is just past town with ample free public parking immediately adjacent to the sand. Great for small kids and accessible for older folks and people with health or orthopedic issues. Also faces the sun better than the ocean side.

Cozy bird watchers paradise

Our family of four had a lovely two week stay with space for in-laws to visit with us as well. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen/house supplies are extensive, and there is a generous offering of towels for bath and beach. The house had everything we needed and owners Sharon and Rob were attentive and very hospitable. The outdoor space - deck, yard, firepit - was phenomenal. I spent a lot of time sitting in the sun or shade on the deck while watching an amazing variety of birds feed on the plant life and birdfeeders. We ate meals and played games out there as well. When we had rain, we enjoyed the comfortable living room for tv and games - or continued watching the woodpeckers, robins and blue jays through the beautiful bay window. The location, a quiet neighborhood off rt 6, was close to everything we wanted, including taking the morning walk to the bakery. I would still be there lounging on the deck watching the hummingbirds today if I could!

Wellfleet Gem

We had a great stay. We are a group of friends who rent yearly together in Wellfleet and the Cannon Hill House was one of the most comfortable and enjoyable homes we've stayed in. The deck with it's garden and bird watching is delightful and we had wonderful breakfasts and star gazing at night. The neighborhood is quaint and pleasant for walking and quiet too. If you're a fan of the bakery at PB you will enjoy the close proximity! Sharon and Rob were wonderful hosts and very responsive to any questions or concerns. The house is totally equipped with everything you will need and check in and check out is very easy. We would most definitely stay there again.

Our Favorite Week of the Year

Our family of four had a fabulous week at Rob and Sharon's property! The house was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We especially enjoyed our morning coffee and freshly grilled seafood dinners outside on their beautiful deck. Both Sharon and Rob promptly responded with any questions we had, and they also made several helpful suggestions on where to dine and places to shop. Great Place

House has good flow and beautiful landscaping. Very well equipped with everything you need and more. The location is good; right off of 6, easy drive to town and several beaches. Only gave location a 4 as it'd be nice to be closer to the water, tho you can see the salt marsh just down the road. Would definitely return.

We loved the openness of the main room to the kitchen. There was everything you could think of for equipment and appliances. The outside area and patio were terrific!!! Great Wellfleet stay!

My family of 4 very much enjoyed our week vacation at Rob and Sharon's place. First of all, the location can't be beat -- in a quiet side street off Route 6 just minutes from beaches, ponds, and the town center. The house is comfortable and well-equipped (even with sheets and towels - a rarity in Cape Cod rentals!), and Sharon and Rob are very responsive to queries and issues. The BBQ didn't work when we arrived -- I let them know and another one appeared the next day. The interior of the house could use some updates and more lighting, but is comfortable and spacious and could easily fit a few more people. The garden and deck are just lovely. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely Wellfleet vacation spot

This property was perfectly located for our vacation needs -mere steps from the bike path and our favorite breakfast locations. Rob was a gracious and generous host, and we would gladly return. We particularly loved the back deck with its abundant flowers.

We both love this home and this place, and with Rob's background in maintaining valuable properties as a profession and with his dedication to making your vacation great by providing a clean, comfortable, well equipped home away from home. Rob and his brother and sisters grew up with their summers spent in Wellfleet since the late '60s. We have deep ties to the neighborhood where you will be renting, and wish for you a peaceful and fun stay at our place.
