The Perfect Summer Home!

Our family absolutely loved our stay. Kathy was very attentive and helpful- a great host. The property was clean, cute and perfectly sized for our family. It was a short 5 minute walk to the beach and conveniently located to several restaurants, general stores and ice cream! Highly recommend for a family beach vacation!

Great house in great location

Loved the easy stroll to the beach and proximity to Dennis Village for shops and restaurants. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable for three adults and one young child, with room to spare. Owner was very helpful.

Lovely spot for a getaway!

Lovely spot for a weekend getaway- the hosts were accessible and easy to deal with, the house was beautiful, clean, and well stocked, and the walking distance to the ocean and short driving distance to the beach area of the lake were awesome. Grown ups and kids all had a great time!

Wonderful!

This was our second year back in this beautiful home. It was clean, welcoming, the neighborhood is quiet and it’s just a short walk to a great little beach. The owner is very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend and will be back again next year!

Great house & location

Awesome Cape vacation home. House is fresh & clean with all of the amenities we needed, The beautiful ocean beach is a short walk away. Enjoyed the lake - also within walking disrance for an afternoon dip. Very quiet neighborhood & a short drive to shopping & nice restaurants. Thank you Kathy - you were great to coordinate with.

Always Amazing

This was our third summer staying at this beautiful home. The house is always clean and comfortable. The check in process is simple and Kathy is communicative, making the entire process a breeze! This year we walked down to the ocean and spent the mornings at the beach and then walked with our 11 year old girls to swim in Scargo lake after lunch. We finished the day off with evening sunsets every night. We will definitely be coming back here again.

Second year and we will be back

Stayed at Kathy’s property for two weeks and this is our second year in a row. The place is renovated and very well maintained. We like the back patio a lot and the proximity to the lake and the beach. Maybe we should keep this as a secret for just ourselves! we will come back next year!

Beautiful Spot

My family and I enjoyed staying at Kathy's, it is truly a beautiful spot. Peaceful, quiet location within easy walking distance to the beach. House was clean, updated and spacious with a great deck and nice little reading spot in the upper yard. Kathy was responsive and the house had thoughtful details such as additional beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, extra shampoo/conditioner, etc. We were very happy with our choice and would definitely recommend it to others.

Lovely charming & tucked away

The property was immaculate and entered to a clean smell, fresh sheets, and I suspect recent paint / updates. The bedrooms met all our needs, the patio area was charming and the house nestled away in a shady neighborhood close to the beach. Space was outfitted with everything we needed and yet minimal extra clutter. We were a multigenerational family of vacationers with young kids and grandparents happily using the first floor, parents enjoying the top floor suite. Laundry from INSIDE the house (all our past rentals have been outdoor bilco door access) As an average size person, I loved the amenities of the house; the bigger men in our group found the kitchen and bathroom a little tight. Pleasant walk to nearby beach, easy drive to Mayflower beach and the donut shop, many restaurants. Overall a glorious cape week setting.

Perfect house for our relaxing vacation!

Everything about this house worked perfectly for us. For starters, location, location, location. Just a couple of minutes walk to one of the nicest (and quietest) beaches in Cape Cod. Also the lake (great for my daughter who likes to swim in warmer non salt water). The house was roomy enough for all of us and quite comfortable, and the deck was great for breakfast, reading a book, or just hanging out. Anything we needed beyond walking (or biking) distance, was a quick drive away. And Kathy was totally responsive to any questions we had. You will definitely enjoy your time here!

Perfect getaway to the beach!

Perfect location for easy walks to a local beach. Parents + toddler made the walk daily with no stroller needed - a huge plus. The beach is perfect for young kids. Definitely plan around going at low tide to play and walk on the soft sand and water’s edge. 5 minute drive away from good restaurants, coffee and groceries. The house was spotless and fully stocked. Upstairs bedroom with a queen and nook for a twin daybed is also ideal for kiddos not yet ready to stay in a separate room on their own but out of your bed! Kathy’s communications were prompt and welcoming.

Excellent!

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we needed. Down to shampoo and soap in every bathroom, including the outdoor shower! It’s in the cutest little neighborhood with some of the friendliest people we have ever met. The beach was such a short walk and perfect for our 2.5 year old! We strolled her down to the beach in her radio flyer wagon and she loved it. Scargo lake is also a short walk and just beautiful. We went there to enjoy our morning coffee. Kathy is an excellent host!! We are already in talks of booking again soon! Don’t hesitate, book this property!

Beautiful Bayside Beach Vacation

It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful home. This home is clean and beautiful just as the pictures show, and well stocked with everything you would need for the week. The neighborhood is quiet, everyone was so friendly in the area, and the walk to the beach was very easy with two 9 year old children. The beaches are gorgeous at low tide with calm clear water for the kids to play. (Definitely plan the beach time around low tide and maybe bring some water shoes to cross the rocks higher up on the beach. Once you crossed the rocks the bottom was sandy and smooth!). We walked to the beach every evening for sunset as well and the views were magnificent. Traveling with 2 small 3 person families we were a little concerned about the size and layout of the home -two of the bedrooms were right off the main dining and living area- but it ended up being totally fine and everyone slept comfortably. Kathy was very welcoming and responsive-a great host! We will definitely keep this home in mind for our future vacations.
