Hidden Falls Farmhouse

Located on the wine trail in Auburn Ca, this newly renovated farmhouse is perfect for a weekend of beer and wine tasting, mountain bike riding, hiking, and enjoying the peaceful outdoors. Enjoy a wedding weekend, romantic getaway, family vacation or a girls (and guys!) wine tasting weekend with us!

Separate back house sleeps 10 comfortably. 2 bedroom. The first bedroom has one queen bed and one twin bed. The second bedroom has two queen beds. The living room sofa contains a queen hideaway bed. Two bathrooms with showers, laundry, and plenty of dinning area. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials plus a quaint breakfast nook. A natural creek runs just steps from the back patio where you can enjoy a backyard BBQ and the sounds of nature. The farmhouse has a back up generator in the event of a power outage.

We are here to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We also live on the 10 acre property with our Great Dane dog, Hank and 25 chickens. If any questions come up, feel free to ask! We love where we live and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Less than 3 miles to Hidden Falls Regional Park where you will find miles of amazing hiking, biking or horseback riding trails. Traveling with your horses? We have room for them too!

Short drive to Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Donner Lake, and Folsom Lake

Located 12-15 mins off the Hwy 193 exit of I-80. Only 15 min to downtown Auburn. Uber and Lyft available.

* Your dog should be friendly and house trained. Dogs that utilize pee pads are NOT allowed.

Farmhouse Highly Recommend

Our family absolutely loved staying here. The Farmhouse was clean & comfortable for all of us (5 adults & 3 kids). The kitchen was well equipped and the downstairs bathroom even had a washer/dryer. We enjoyed old town Auburn and the wine trail. This is a great place to stay & highly recommend.

Love the farmhouse

Nine members of my family stayed here in preparation for my daughters wedding, which was taking place about a mile away. We had plenty a room and the property is beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

Girlfriend Get-away

Five “very mature ladies” who try to gather twice a year to invest in our over 30 year friendship. Sara and Simon are excellent host and hostess. Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Upon arrival Sara gave us fresh eggs and some squash from her garden. Easy access off Mt Vernon road to go to Lincoln, Auburn, and I80.

Everything you want or need

Every time I needed something, I turned and it was right there. This VRBO was well planned. Easy in and out. Area information, resources and house information were helpful. The two upstairs rooms were very spacious. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and comfortable. The kitchen is a fair size for cooking and well supplied, but the dining room/living room combo is a better seating area if you have more than 2 people. Pellet stove was very efficient and I think I will have to add it to my own home wish list. Towels and blankets were in excellent condition, well stocked and exceptionally clean. The location is away from the main city but conveniently close enough for everything you need in town. Owners are very responsive and easy to work with.

Absolutely beautiful retreat!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The hosts thought of every detail, the home was perfectly decorated, incredibly clean and very comfortable. The setting is so peaceful and lovely, I wish our visit hadn’t been so packed with activities so we could enjoy relaxing at the home more. Weekend get away with surprises

I felt so at home and comfortable in this house. The decor was so well done, beds comfy . When you sit in the back on the patio you can hear the water running by. We went to the old wise winery for dinner which was excellent and watched the sun go down. Great weekend and wonderful memories shared by our family !

Perfect getaway for family

Cute little house, tucked away in quite Auburn. The stream running through the property was filled with crawdads and small fish that my kids went crazy for, there is a giant swing hanging from a tree that provided great shade for the yard and lots of entertainment for my 3 and 7 year old. Perfect Getaway

We had the best time at Hidden Falls Farmhouse! It was the perfect getaway with friends. Two adults & five kids fit perfectly in this home. The kids played out on the swing, exploring near the creek and had a blast curling up on the big bean bag beds at night to watch movies. The owners went above and beyond decorating this little farmhouse with the cutest attention to detail. It was incredibly clean with all the amenities you could possibly need - even a fresh carton of eggs upon arrival! Thanks for a great stay, Simon, Sarah, & Tommy! We will definitely be back. :)

A little slice of serenity

We had a wonderful time. My extended family lives in the greater Auburn area but due to the uncertainty surrounding travel we decided to get a place for just our little family. The Farmhouse was cozy and comfortable with more space than we anticipated. We will definitely book again.
