About this property
Oberon Cottage - Privacy, beach access, Mt Rainer view and beautiful forest
This very unique, secluded, pristine cottage is located less than 90 minutes from Seattle on the Key Peninsula in a 17 acre cedar forest with ocean frontage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and appointed with luxury linens and comfortable beds. Privacy in a classic cedar and maple forest draped in moss and offering a quiet get away from the city. Expansive views of Mt Rainier are a feature of the Oberon Property, along with a very secluded waterfront access for launching your kayak or beach combing. Boaters and sailors can make use of the private mooring buoy as well. If you want to explore the area further, the "Key", as locals call it, is an undiscovered gem of tangled woodland surrounded by state parks and ocean on all sides. There are numerous festivals and activities throughout the year as well. Beyond the three salt water state parks the Key has a variety of other parks with extensive walking, biking, and horse trails. Winter or summer, the Key has everything for the perfect get-out-of-the-city-and-enjoy-nature getaway without having to drive for hours. It is quiet and rustic, peaceful and beautiful. See Ken Pen Parks for info.

Why they chose this property
Nothing beats beautiful beach views, secluded nature, hotdogs over the fire, barbequing on the deck, hot tubbing before bed, it's a lovely break from the busy, hustle and bustle of the city.
