Absolutely fantastic lake home with big water views. Deep water dock perfect for swimming, fishing and boating. Sandy beach with shallow water great for children. Fully renovated home with two separate living areas. Upstairs living has large open kitchen with views to lake, smart TV and plenty of space to gather. Four large bedrooms and three baths without any steps. On the stepless main level there are two master suites with king size beds and adjoining baths. Queen bedroom with bunk beds and an additional bedroom with queen size bed. Large deck and covered porch with beautiful lake views. Nothing better than mornings on the porch! On the terrace level there is another king bedroom and private bath. Game room with Smart TV, pool table and lake views. Three total en-suite bedrooms all with king beds. Large level yard for backyard games and an outdoor gas grill for cooking out. Concrete walkway to lakeside dock with umbrella, table and chairs. Lakeside fire pit for evening fun. 4 kayaks and one standup paddleboard. House is located at the peaceful south end of the lake.
WiFi and two Smart TVs with Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Video. Conveniently located 15 minutes from Historic downtown Eatonton, 20 minutes to restaurants and shopping and golf nearby. Boat and jet ski rentals can be done through Oconee Wild or Young Harris boat rentals.

This property has alot to offer for all ages. Had a variety of age groups and there is something for everyone. The property is quiet and peaceful, has a variety of water crafts and life jackets for all sizes. The layout of the house is ideal with 3 master suites, a bunk room and add'l queen bdrm. Kitchen/living area is laid out to accommodate large groups, dining or patio dining is large. watching the sun rise over the lake is a great way to start your day.

Excellent place for a family trip

This house was a great place to take our family along with grandchildren for the week. House was very clean and kitchen well equipped. Quiet, peaceful setting with deer wandering though the neighborhood. The zero-entry beach was a great place to swim and play with our very young grandkids. Owners were responsive with questions and concerns. Would definitely rent here again

We had the privilege of staying in this lovely home to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. From the road the home is deceiving but when you walk in you realize you have hit the lottery. The lay out is ideal, especially for a family.The pool table, dock, fire pit and sandy beach checks all the boxes for a perfect stay.

We had a great time on our trip! Although my daughter and her family did not get to come, my son, his family, my husband and I really enjoyed everything. The house was very clean! The kids loved the kayaks!!! They want to buy some now! We made s'mores thanks to the host. Everyone played pool! We could not have asked for a better place!! Thank you!

Lake Getaway Perfection

Our entire family met at the lake to celebrate my husband’s 60th Birthday. The home was perfect — enough bedrooms, enough baths, spectacular views, game room, large kitchen and several dining areas (inside and out). Having kayaks and a paddleboard available for use was a huge plus! We also rented a boat and had it delivered to the dock. The extra touches of having firewood available for the fire pit, as well as all the makings for s’mores was the cherry on top. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back. The home is beautiful and John was a great host!

Absolutely wonderful vacation

John’s place is in a very special setting at quiet lower part of Lake Oconee. The house both inside and outside was beautiful, very clean, with super comfortable furniture and beds, outstanding views and ability to enjoy them. The kitchen appliances were great, the small beach on the property great for grandkids and taking off on kayaks and paddle boards - we brought ours and John had plenty . So much to do - we rented pontoon which docked easily and had a blast water skiing, tubing and visiting rest of our extended family who rented a house a mile and a half by water up the lake. I also found John to be so easy to connect with and always answered questions readily, offered helpful tips and was always a bonus sting. Thank you John for sharing your lovely home. We so enjoyed it and would love to return in future .

Such an amazing stay!

The house was impeccably clean and well-stocked for our long weekend away. We were there with our two kids (10 and 12) and another couple, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake in the morning and listening to the crickets at night was so incredibly peaceful. John was an amazing homeowner to work with and great about communication and recommendations. The house is about 20-25 minutes to the nearest grocery store, but we knew that going in so were mostly prepared. After spending Friday on the lake and venturing to the northern end, we were all in agreement that this rental location near the southern end was much more our speed. The kids were able to swim off the dock and we all enjoyed smores at the firepit. While the guys watched the football game on Saturday, the girls ventured into Milledgeville and roamed the grounds of the old Central State Hospital (incredible architecture and a shame it's been let go). We were all reluctant to leave on Sunday and would love to come back again.

Tub in bedroom off living room drains slowly and fill with water when showering.Toilet innards in main bathroom off living room needs to be replaced.The new appliances are gorgeous.The new carpet is lovely.A light on the ceiling fan in the living room would be useful. It was cold so we moved the table and chairs on the deck into the living room to play games and we could never get enough light.John, the host, was very approachable and responded quickly to any need we had.We will be back!

This lakefront home provided the perfect get-together for friends coming from different states. The home was very clean, well stocked for every need, and beautifully decorated with spacious bedrooms for every couple. The large table inside accommodated fun games while the table on the deck was perfect for enjoying our meals outside with a view. The pool table downstairs was enjoyed by some while we all had a great time exploring the lake by kayaks and the paddle board that were available.Our days started with watching the sun come up over the lake and we had the perfect ending with s’mores cooked over the fire pit on our own private little beach. The host, John, is responsive and easy to work with. We enjoyed our experience so much, we felt this could be a place to come back to for future annual gatherings.

The check in and check out was quite simple and we found all of our needs were met in the kitchen and in the house. The house is very well appointed with beds that are comfortable and all clean linens and towels. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stunning property, great place for multi-generational family vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might possibly need. The entire home/property is super clean. John is a super host and readily available. Loved all the water sports equipment. We have wonderful memories of exploring the lake, the private beach is amazing with little ones. Walking in the woods close by was apart of our daily routine.There is a little convenience store close by but otherwise bring all your food/supplies unless you don’t mind driving.
