Where to begin. The cabin was our home and retreat for four days. We were able to kayak on the upper klamath (virtually t minute away), and do a day trip to Crater Lake (about 45 minutes away). The third day it rained and we just dug in and enjoyed The clean Cabin in the Woods. We’ve stayed at quite a few VRBO but never one as stocked, organized and with attention to detail as this one. We can’t recommend it enough.

Quick Stop in Upper Klamath

Beautiful place to stay that was cozy and charming! We enjoyed renting kayaks for the afternoon just a few minute drive away. At the cottage, loved the outdoor seating area, proximity to the lake, and peacefulness of the surrounding community! We stayed here overnight on our stop up to Crater Lake the next morning and wished we could have stayed longer!

They have thought of everything!

Awesome cabin that is fully stocked. You can cook just about anything you want! Very clean with friendly host right next door. We were just passing through, wish we could’ve stayed longer. Hope to return sometime soon!

Cabin in the mountains

This property is in a beautiful lake side area. We used it as our base for snowshoeing in Crater Lake National Park. It is very homey with all the amenities you could want. We will definitely look to stay here whenever we are in the area. Amazing

Clean and comfortable

Excellent location and very clean. Everything you could need was there for you. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone interested in staying near Crater Lake, hiking, and Kayaking. Wonderful!! 5 Stars for sure!!

A great place for a getaway

This cabin is perfect for a cozy getaway. It is very clean, well appointed, and quiet. Very comfortable. The owners are fabulous and respond quickly if you have a question or issue. We recommend this cabin. We will be back.

Ring in the New Year!

We had a wonderful stay to ring in 2023! There was a bit of snow on the ground and the cabin is surrounded by big beautiful trees. Within walking distance of a restaurant and bar on Pelican Bay which is part of Klamath Lake. The cabin is comfortable, the bed was great and the kitchen is well stocked! We will be back!

Fabulous

Tammy’s place was a wonderful base for our three nights exploring the Crater Lake area. The house was thoughtfully set up and had everything you might need - from laundry liquid to cooking basics, we found that she had thought of it all! The house is definitely larger and nicer than the photos; it was spacious enough for four adults. The sofa bed wasn’t the greatest but for a short time it was fine. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor area with the barbeque, and appreciated the quiet and private area. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for a lovely stay!

Great stay!

Wonderful hosts! Clean and well appointed Great location to Crater Lake Hints: Stop at a grocery store for supplies prior to arrival. There is no shopping stores within a half hour. We went as we left Portland airport. Ask hosts for written directions as internet service is not reliable so travel apps didn’t always work. Ask hosts for their phone number as well. Would definitely stay again and look forward to returning.

Cute small home for your stay

The place is very clean, nicely furnished (even brochures in the bedroom, for local fun!), kitchen has everything, nice big fridge, small set-out exterior seating area at rear. Comfy bed. A couple of be awares for specific demographics. 1) If you are a bit unsteady, the owners have slip-strips between the bedroom and bathroom but there is a slope that can be disconcerting at night with no light. 2) if you are seeking a serene, alone in the silent woods experience, this isn't one. Neighbors, including owner, are nice and generally quiet but there are barking dogs, and people in houses and cabins close by. This latter, that you are not in the middle of Nowhere, is part of the 'close to the local resort' that is such a PLUS - you can rent canoes and boats, and are closer to 'civilization' when you need it. So, not an issue, just to make sure that the wilderness crowd doesn't get confused. We came for the annular eclipse, October '23, and had a brilliant location down at the boat dock, clear sky to the east. Great location to watch the sun come up, any morning!

Excellent, comfortable and charming accommodations for a little getaway. Very easy access into the cabin with wonderfully stocked kitchen for cooking, if you choose. Cozy outside area including a private tucked in picnic table for your morning coffee and Bible reading. Ahhh…just breathe and smell the pines.

Beautiful location in the woods

The cabin was very nice and clean. Loved the outdoor space with picnic table, chairs, BBQ and fire pit. It felt very private and in nature. Just a couple minutes from the lake as well.

Relaxing, comfortable, and well equipped

The area is beautiful. The location was very peaceful during our September stay. The unit had everything we needed and more. One of the days we took in Crater Lake National Park. Perhaps my favorite activity was to walk down to the lake in the morning and rent a kayak.

Why they chose this property

Location X3... It's a great base to explore southern Oregon. But if you feel like sticking around, you can head across the street to Harriman Springs Resort and Marina for access to kayaking, fishing, canoeing or just exploring. And when you feel like relaxing, you can grab a drink and some good food at Harrimans as well! (Ask about hours).
