So glad that you had a great time at the cabin and that you found the place clean with no issues at all during your stay. Our cleaner will be very happy that you mentioned the cleanliness in your review as she takes great pride in her work- so again, thank you!
The cabin was cozy and sufficient for our stay, the distance to attractions was just right. Twenty minutes to Gatlinburg and Forty to Pigeon Forge area. We were close enough to they National Park to visit Clingmans Dome before shopping one day. Very satisfying stay!

Very disappointed in our stay. We are being charged for cleaning and there were dead spiders and cob webs throughout the cabin. The details of the property was lacking. The owner should notate the incline of the driveway as it poses a serious safety concern. Getting in and out of the driveway was not only dangerous but can cause damage to your vehicle. The cabin has so much potential but it definitely missed the mark. I would not book this cabin in the future.

Very disappointing that you did not reach out to us when you arrived if you noticed any house keeping issues as our cleaner would have been happy to address anything that needed any attention. Regarding the driveway, it seems that guests who come from "flat lands" are just not use to any elevation whatsoever. In the future, when traveling to the mountains, it might be reasonable to expect some sort of incline. Having said that- the driveway is definitely in no way "dangerous" or could cause any damage to a vehicle. We do hope that you were able to take away some happy memories with your family though and perhaps enjoyed many of the amenities offered.
We were extremely pleased with the cabin. It was clean and offered plenty of room for our group of 6. The cabin offered many amenities that were appreciated.

Love the picture of the visitor you had while you were there! Thank you John for your wonderful review and for recognizing the amenities we strive hard to provide for our guests. Please do comeback for another stay sometime soon.
The cabin was great. Very clean and very comfortable. Only complaint is the driveway. It was very scary getting in and out.

We are so glad that you found the cabin clean and comfortable and we hope you were able to make some great memories there with your friends/family. The driveway can look a little intimidating to someone who is use to driving only on flat lands. Thankfully, most guests don't have any issue with it at all (as evident in reviews)
Our stay was very nice. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing. Everything was excellent I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I will be staying here again soon

Thank you for your 10/10 review and we re glad you had a great spring break with your loved ones. The driveway can look a little intimidating to people who aren't use to the mountains or hills and who are just use to flat lands.
The cabin was easy to find, check in and communication was super easy, everything was clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you for having us.

About the host
Hosted by Shelly
Honey Bear's Hideaway was purchased in November 2019 and we, as the owners have totally renovated the cabin as it was in a very neglected state. We fell in love with the cabins warmth and charm and we hope that our guests will thoroughly love it as much as we do. We have put much thought into making each stay a memorable one and are here for our guests anytime needed. We love the Smokies! It is our home! We want families to create lasting memories of a lifetime here, just as we have!
What makes this property unique
Honey Bear's Hideaway isn't your typical cabin. It has so much space, it is convenient to Gatlinburg's Strip yet it is in a very private setting.
