Perfect accommodation and lovely host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Quarteira, the apartment was perfect and well suited to our needs. It offered all the amenities that were required including a washing machine and cooking facilities. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to be close to the beach and all the shops whilst still experiencing a real friendly local Portuguese atmosphere. Rosinda is the perfect host who ensured that all of our needs were catered for. We look forward to returning here next year.

Amazing property

We stayed at the property for a week.It was amazing from the beginning to the end..From the apartment to the beach is 3 minutes walk , the views from the balcony were stunning , the kitchen was fully equipped, bedrooms were decent sized with all the rooms except the bathroom with ceiling fans .Outside is clean ,and quiet with nice neighbours. The host was really nice and friendly, awaiting us for our arrival as well as showing us the property and bringing a little present for the kids before we checked out. 10/10 we recommend to anyone that wants to go.We will be back for sure.

Clean but dated

The location of the apartment was exactly as described however , the noise of neighbours dogs meant that sleep was often interrupted . The decor orfthe apartment was dated and a curtain pole had to be replaced on the first day . Was a lovely holiday , it was lucky we were not in the apartment that often as noise would have spoilt it .

Pros: Excellent price. Great location. Very clean. Cons: Parking is hard. Small, hard beds better suited for kids than six adults. It worked for us beware. Very sparse kitchen items (no spices, oils, coffee, honey, etc.). One small bath. The shower stall is barely hanging on. The rod above the balcony came off and hit me in the back of the head. Gym noises weren't terrible but there is a gym directly below the unit. When we went to check out, the woman told us she "didn't clean toilets" and made my husband scrub the toilet so we did not leave on a good note.

Regarding your extensive list of complains, you schould have described how you left the apartment in unacceptable cleanliness conditions , especially the bathroom.You schoud know every citizen has the civic right to clean the toilet when using it.!!! or ??? Strangely you come to complain the lack of groceries like coffee, oil ,honey etc ,it`s important to ask you why ? what you want it`s not part of the reserve.!!When counting the clothes a face towell and a kitchen towel are missing.....You have a tax free Parking but still complainI I wisch you have a good time

A great location

The host was very helpful, the apartment location was great, but unfortunately having a gym directly below, and being located on a busy street, did make it quite noisy. The apartment has a balcony which faces the road and people passing tend to stare at you, which is off putting when you are eating. The television has only Portuguese channels, so if you can't speak Portuguese it's not very useful. The pillows were very flat, and no spares were available. Parking can be difficult, and you can't always find a space close to the apartment. Taking all of this into account, we did enjoy our stay.

Really good accommodation for its price

We stayed in the apartment from the mid of June until the end of July 2023. The apartment itself is great located. Close to the beach, it's actual 5 minutes walk and only 30 minutes walk from Vilamoura. There are several big shops around where we found everything we needed. The balcony and all windows face West so there was sun in the evening. There is no air conditioning in the apartment, but it wasn’t a problem for us, we just kept windows opened during the night. But in case of heat wave, it could be a problem. The kitchen is equipped with minimal required stuff but there is IKEA 20 minutes away by taxi for anything needed. The apartment is positioning as suitable for 6 people, but I’d say that 2 places are suitable for kids or teens only and not for adults. My kids are 9 and 11 fit well. There are otherwise two double beds 140 cm width which suit for 2 average people and not for “big”/tall ones. The only problem we really had was the toilet which flashed badly so we had to use bucket sometimes :D Internet is worth of mentioning. It’s cell phone internet which is quite slow. I had to wait for caching while tried to watch a film and noticed some delays during calls with colleagues. There is gym on the ground floor which works until 23 and sometimes music in there was quite loud which could be a problem for small kids. Rosinda the landlady is very friendly and visited us to check if we need anything. In overall I’d say the apartment is really good and worth its price.

Apartamento muito bem localizado, a 5 min a pé da praia, restaurantes, supermercados, etc. equipado com todas as comodidades necessárias para fazer as refeições em casa. Tem 2 quartos. A D.Rosinda foi muito prestável e respondeu às nossas questões sempre rapidamente. O estacionamento é difícil mas com um pouco de paciência é possível arranjar um lugar para deixar o carro.

Em 7 anos de AL nenhum hóspede pôs a limpeza do locado em questão,antes pelo contrário sempre o valorizaram Lamentavelmente e muito estranhamente você que deixou o apartamento em condições de limpeza inaceitáveis, vem com falsas críticas sem fundamento pôr em causa a limpeza e a qualidade do mesmo não sei qual o seu objectivo.???Importa perguntar se o apartamento tinha falta de higiene nada prestava porque não reclamou durante a estadia???!!!

Dar-lhe-ia toda a razão , se eu lhe tivesse dito que o apartamento tinha ar condicionado, e que eu tivesse conhecimento que a média das temperaturas de verão em Quarteira fossem de cerca 49 graus celsius.. A realidade é totalmente diferente quando alugou o apartamento sabia que não tinha ar condicionado, e quanto às altas temperaturas que na altura da sua estada se fizeram sentir, foi uma. excepção que nem eu nem ninguém pode prever .Lamento a sua crítica extremamente agressiva do bota baixo sem que tevesse tido em consideração as circunstãncias.
