Our stay at the Williamston Barn & Cowshed was fabulous!!! Wonderfully designed property that is very well furnished, exceptionally clean and quite honestly exceeded all of our expectations! The Crabtree staff were highly responsive with their communications and all 12 of the members of our family reunion give a enthusiastic thumbs up to all aspects of our accommodations, during our stay. Bravo!!!!!

Fantastic property beautifully presented - disappointing that HomeAway don’t manage the whole proces

The property was amazing and owners very flexible around arrival time and departure. Couldn’t fault it and would definitely choose to stay again. However very confusing that received 2 invoices - 1 from Homeaway and another from Crabtree and Crabtree. Confusing as to what was being paid for what. Slight problem with accidental damage to a door, money taken from my card within 2 days of departure and I was told C and C would negotiate with owners even though I informed the owner myself on departure and offered to put the damage right ourselves....and still waiting for a reply from Crabtree and Crabtree after 3 weeks. This latter aspect is both disappointing and frustrating

Accommodation was first class and location was great too. Both barn and cowshed were well equipped.

During our stay we had plenty of time to take in the amazing views and due to the great location go on long walks. Drove to Hadrian’s wall and completed a great but challenging (for me) walk all our party completed with a well deserved stop at sycamore gap. We prepared a lovely meal together 10 in our party in the barn and relaxed in the lounge with beautiful log burners. On Sunday we had a short walk to the local pub which we highly recommend. Kirk style inn at Knaresdale. The four day break was brilliant we will definitely be returning.

Myself &11 friends booked the cow & barn shed for a long weekend. We were totally blown away with the property, the attention to detail, the personal touches. We could not recommend this place enough !!
