As a large private manor, located on a quiet cul-de-sac, Emerald Escape is a modern smart home featuring 6 Bedrooms, 5.5 Bathrooms, Heated Pool and Spa; high-speed mesh Wi-Fi with digital thermostats; Smart TVs, Google Assistants and PS4 Pro digital gaming system with surround-sound large-screen projection movie theater.

Located in the prestigious Emerald Island Resort, a gated and security guarded community, this unique vacation home is close to Disney and convenient to all amenities. With 4 King-sized master suites and 2 roomy children's bedrooms, this home is ideal for large families and friends.

On the main floor you’ll find the spacious family room with a large 65-inch SMART 4K TV, a gourmet family kitchen, and an 8-seat dining room together with a comfortable living room area. The spacious kitchen includes granite countertops and all new stainless-steel appliances, Keurig coffee maker and tableware that you will find handy for quick snacks or complete family meals. The huge granite central island in the kitchen is perfect for breakfast and casual family get togethers.

The main master bedroom suite, located on the ground floor, is complete with King-size bed, walk-in closet, generous storage and hanging space; ceiling fan and SMART 4K TV. The master bath ensuite includes a large walk-in shower, dual sinks and plenty of storage and counter space.

Upstairs, you’ll find three king-sized master bedrooms all with full ensuite bathrooms including tub and shower. All rooms include ample storage space, SMART 4K TVs and ceiling fans.

The two youth/children rooms are themed with Toy Story and Princess enhancements that include single beds and bunk beds together with SMART 4K TVs in each room. A full Jack-and-Jill bathroom includes tub and shower. For the very small, a pack-and-play crib and high-chair is also included.

For complete entertainment, high-speed Wi-Fi delivers Disney, Netflix and YouTube video and music streaming services; together with Google digital assistants accessible at no additional cost.

On the main floor, you’ll also discover the custom designed theater room with comfortable reclining chairs and mood lighting while viewing the latest movies on the 110-inch projection screen with full surround-sound and separate air conditioning.

Also located on the main floor is the laundry room with full size washer and dryer pair, iron and ironing board.

Walk through the French patio doors, and you’ll step out to the private, large covered lanai enclosed in a protective screened area with overhead fans and child safety pool-fence. Our family had a great stay at this house. The layout was perfect for our family- each couple had their own space with a bathroom/privacy along with the shared spaces. It met the needs of our group of 13 (with eight adults and five kids ages 5 months, 2.5, 6, 8, and 10 years old). The host/manager was wonderful to work with and was very responsive to all of my questions. She was quick to help with any of our questions and she resolved a pool-heat issue quickly. Everything was great and we would love to rent this home again in the future!

Family trip

The house was perfect for our use. We had two sets of grandparents, ourselves and our two year old. Everyone had a bedroom with a king size bed and their own private bathroom. The pool had a fence around it so we didn’t have to worry about our two year old while sitting outside. Everything was very clean and the proximity to Disney was perfect.

Very nice home

This was a great property for our family. We loved the extra space, the garage that was transformed into a movie room and the pool area. My father is handicapped and was able to enjoy the home with his wheelchair. We loved that the movie room was not on the second floor so he could access it. The home was also very well stocked with kitchen supplies Would definitely return.

Fantastic stay

What we liked ; This is a wonderful large house for a large family . Felt Very homely . It appeared to be cleaned to a high standard for our arrival . Very well equipped in the kitchen , More than adequate crockery and cooking utensils for all of us . Easy to use all appliances . The mattresses and bedding were all very comfortable, no complaints from anyone regards sleeping . Enough pool towels and house towels to go round twice , so not always having to wash and dry in the same day . We didn’t get time to use the theatre room so cannot comment on that . We didn’t visit the clubhouse either . Helpful comments: We only stayed 6 nights here and managed to have 2 days round the pool . For 10 people there were only 2 sun loungers another couple of them would have been appreciated, There was enough seating otherwise . Unfortunately we made the same mistake as others when we first arrived at the property . It was after 22.00 hrs when we arrived from the UK so all very tired . We didn’t realise that the key pad was actually on the door itself as there were a couple of other pads on the outside wall . We eventually sussed it out , and felt really stupid !

It was an experience

Let’s talk about the pros first. The house is a nice size and the theater room was great. Washing machine and dry worked due to the fact we had to wash all the bedding in the house. Which brings me to the cons. When we arrived the front door, windows on the side of the door and garage door were full of dead bugs. When we open the front door it was a stale smell in the house which is why all the ceiling fans where on in the house and it was 49 degrees in Florida that weekend. All of the towels and wash clothes were damp and sitting on the beds. When it was time for bed everyone started to notice their sheets were dirty and full of stains (I have pictures). I reach out to the property manager and they responded the next day but we had already washed all the sheets because we needed to sleep in the beds that night. Which was part of the stale smell in the house. Once we washed everything and lit some candles the house smelled wonderful. A week later they attempted to charge me for stained items. While we enjoyed our family vacation needless to say we will not be staying at this home again.

Very nice family property

Very nice & clean home, plenty of room for our family of nine. Nice resort and close to Disney parks. Only complaint would be the heating of the pool & hot tub. I paid extra and it worked 3 of the 5 days we were there. Was told it would heat up in 15-20 minutes, took at least an hour the first night, 3 hours the second night, never worked 3rd night and 2 hours the 4th night.

Great Vacation Home!

Pros: This home was exactly as pictured. We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was great! My regret was not paying the extra fee for the heated jacuzzi. Cons: The ice maker on fridge did not work…had to buy ice while there. They only leave 1 dishwasher pod and 1 Laundry pac so bring your own. Also bring dish detergent. A small one on the sink would be nice. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and glasses. Could probably have a few more pots and pans. Bring all necessary cooking needs…seasonings and oils. Great place to stay! The movie room was great! Would definitely stay again. Communication with team was great. Note: if checking in at night, the keypad is on the door. It blends in with the door handle so it’s hard to see. Took us awhile to get in.

This house was beautiful. It was exactly as pictured online. The decor, the appliances were all top notch. The house had everything we needed and fit our group perfectly. The only minor issues were the pool lights did not work, the AC in the master bedroom seems to have some sort of issue. We called maintenance and they came out but the room was still noticeably warmer when you walk in. We had a ceiling fan so no biggie. There were also tiny ants in the master shower that would only show up during early evening. Not there in the morning nor late at night. Again, not a big deal. The tv was a little difficult to figure out as well. The theater room was a big hit! Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this house.

Problems with property manager

Our problems started immediately when the code we were given to get into the house did not work. We didn’t arrive until after midnight due to a canceled flight and other travel issues. We called the emergency number and got an answering service. The guy told us he called the number he was given and nobody answered, so he sent them an email. He said that was all he could do. We sat in the driveway for 45 minutes, until after 1:00 AM and called back. He said no one had responded to his email. He then called the number again and we got a call from the property manager, who gave us a backup code which worked. She said the answering service had 3 numbers to call in an emergency but only one had been called. So, we were happy to be inside, but not happy for long. It was 84 degrees on the first floor and 88 degrees on the second. The thermostat is a Nest which was in away mode so it did not start the AC because there was no activity in the house. We were told this would not happen again. We were now hoping to get to bed but a smoke detector on the second floor was chirping. We called the property manager who had the maintenance man call. He said there was a button on the unit that would reset it. I pushed it and all the detectors went off scaring my kids to death. The man then said he really didn’t know much about the smoke detectors. Of course, this did not solve the problem so we had to put up with the chirping all night. We were so tired by this point we were able to fall asleep quickly. The maintenance guy came the next day and fixed the detector after we had headed for Disney. When we returned the temperature in the house again was in the 80’s. When we called this time the manager said she had turned off the away mode. Why had that not been done the day before? So, we decided to take a dip in the pool, except we found green water and green slime on the pool steps and walls. Another call to the property manager who said she would send the pool guys out but the recent pictures showed the pool in perfect shape. Nice! The pool guys said it was out of chlorine but they had just serviced it three days ago. That is not believable. Basically the pool would not be usable until the next day. After this, we encountered no more problems. The house was clean and nicely furnished but the property manager did not do their job to be sure the entry code worked, the pool was usable, the AC was working correctly & the smoke detectors weren’t chirping.

ABSOLUTELY the best Rental we have ever had!

It was an absolute joy to deal with both the owners and the property management company. The house is so beautifully decorated and appointed that we asked for a reference for their interior designer. Everything in the house was working and in perfect condition. You could wholeheartedly tell that the owners take pride on caring for their home. We wish them all the best and hope to be able to visit another time!

Wonderful house!

We had a fantastic stay in this nicely appointed home. The kitchen was fully equipped which made cooking easy. My grandkids fell in love with the pool and theater room. The house was very clean, comfy beds, and the downstairs master bath was a nice size. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the Kissimmee area.
