Great view of the beach from the room, and the host was super helpful. Family walked to dinner twice as we were very close to several places. We used the pool every day and the covered spaces were perfect to sit and chat .

Great stay- loved that the walk to and from the beach was not that far. Also, many restaurants and shops were walking distance from the condo. Condo was clean- great communication with the host.

We stayed for a week and had an amazing experience. The room was spotless and felt welcoming from the moment we walked in. There were even little frogs we found around the place! Waking up to the beach view every morning was unforgettable, peaceful, bright and absolutely beautiful! We will definitely be coming back again!

The condo was very clean with a beautiful view and in the perfect location! We appreciated all the thoughtful extras. The kitchen was well stocked with two types of coffee makers, some pantry staples, and even a small stack of paper plates. There was also an unopened toothbrush in the bathroom in case we’d forgotten one. We found beach toys and beach chairs available in the master closet. A deck of cards was provided in a kitchen drawer for rainy day entertainment, as well. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout our stay! The only drawback was the inconsistent elevator. We notified Ty and he immediately made a call to make sure repairs were already underway. We understand some circumstances are outside the owners’ control, but it’s something future guests may want to be aware of in case of mobility limitations. The handwritten sign on the elevator door led me to believe this wasn’t the first time it happened. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was perfect! Listing and pictures were exactly what we found when we arrived. No check in desk hassle or separate location to get parking passes. Door code was sent directly to me when condo was ready. The unit was clean and smelled nice. The view from the balcony was beautiful. I enjoyed my morning coffee watching the sun rise and our evening meals as evening fell over the ocean. Kitchen was well stocked for preparing a couple of meals. I was thrilled the refrigerator had an ice maker! Plenty of wash rags, bath towels, and hand towels for our showers. Unit was easy to access near several good restaurants. Ty was very responsive to my questions about the unit and local area. Overall a wonderful, relaxing trip. I will definitely stay at Castaways again if it’s available.

amazing stay

We loved everything about our stay. Loved the location, close to everything you may need, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc..Beautiful view of the beach and ocean from the balcony. Very clean and had everything we needed inlcuding chairs and an umbrella for the beach which was very nice. Definetely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Wonderful stay at perfect Gulf Shores condo for family trip

Stayed for 3 nights with my daughters. The condo was exactly as described, comfortable, clean, great view, and all that we needed. The pool was nice and accessible, beach access couldn’t be easier, and located near lots of restaurants and shops. We’ll definitely consider coming back.
