This completely updated, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, very clean, air-conditioned 1800 sf. condo looks out over a resort like swimming pool area with palm tree framed Mountain Views, and large private side-yard . This condo is a half mile from any main road; it is in the center of the Monterey Country Club a gated/guarded community giving you a private, quiet and safe condo to enjoy your time in Palm Desert.

The spacious living/dining room has vaulted ceilings and steps out onto the large private patio which is just 30 feet from the pool and hot-tub.

The remodeled kitchen has new appliances and is fully equipped for a long stay and for entertaining. The kitchen is near the outside gas grill for your evening BBQ.

Eat breakfast, barbecue, and just relax in the sun in the private front patio courtyard or relax and enjoy the view from the rear patio overlooking the pool and mountain range.

The home is not on the golf course so no worries about golfers or golf balls! Very private and quiet.

The condo comes with 65 inch HDTV in living room and TV in Master bedroom, and TV in Bedroom #2, Spectrum Cable, High Speed Internet with Wi-Fi. The dining room table seats 10 for entertaining, and Outdoor Table seats 8.

The large en-suite master bedroom has a Cal-King Pillow Top bed, and private Master Bath, and looks out thru large glass doors with mountain view. Master has flat screen TV.

The 2nd bedroom has a Cal-King Pillow Top bed, private entrance to the guest bath, 45" TV, and access to the outdoor atrium. The 3rd bedroom has two comfortable extra-long Twin Beds, and mountain views.

All linens, towels, pool towels, and bedding are provided. The condo has new full-size washer and dryer.

Winter Stay 2025

The property was well equipped for a relaxing getaway. We golfed, dined and rode bicycles. Having a pool and hot tub steps away provided a perfect end to the day. When we had questions the host responded quickly. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Wonderful Palm Desert Stay

One of the nicest vacation homes in which our family of 5 has stayed! So well stocked with everything you could need - towels, throw blankets, fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and seating in living room too. We enjoyed the private side courtyard and basically had the hot tub and pool ourselves everyday. The gated neighborhood is very nice and safe to walk around with lovely landscaping. We also enjoyed many hikes within a short drive - would love to visit again and definitely book this home!! Thanks for sharing this lovely place :)

Wonderful location, great property!

We just returned from a 5-night stay, this property was exceptional! Very clean and well-appointed, and Randal was great to work with - his communication was thorough and always prompt. The community is beautiful, and the location of the pool amd hot tub right outside the back patio was great (and especially convenient with having kids who need to go to the bathroom and have snacks regularly!). We enjoyed the private ‘side yard’ at the entrance, which most units don’t have. We would love to stay here again...I wish our trip was longer! Thank you Randal!

The Monterey Golf club Resort is so green and manicured, accented with flowered medians. One is impressed with the drive to the rental. In reality, this condo was exactly like the pics. Three spacious nicely decorated bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Huge windows that gave one the feeling of actually being outside while in! The very large & private side patio and yard was very peaceful. The smaller back patio was perfect for breakfast come and go, a quiet sheltered place by times, and very close to the refreshing community hot tub and swimming pool (pool not heated this February). Lovely views of palm trees and mountains in background. Serene and quiet. Rooms inside were spacious and comfortable. Lovely home away from home.

We loved our stay. Pool location is number one priority. Ceiling fans everywhere, no need for airconditioning. Weather wasn’t it’s warmest so didn’t use the patio’s. Will be great in April.

Randal was an outstanding host! The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures. Sparkling clean, tons of space, and extremely comfortable beds! The house was stocked with the best amenities we have ever seen at any rental! Tons of high-quality towels in the linen closet, all kinds of pans and kitchenware, even a high quality ice cream scooper! There was a lot of closet space, containers for organization in the closets, etc. The house was sparkling clean when we arrived. It is located in a beautiful community in front of a golf course. It’s a quiet community, so any guests should be prepared to be respectful and quiet at night. The pool and Jacuzzi were right across the lawn, only about 20 feet away from the condo. The Jacuzzi was orange and perfectly hot! Overall, an incredible experience!

Absolutely perfect!

We’ve stayed at several VRBO places and this was by far the best! The place is beautiful and very well appointed. It’s clear this is a home not just a rental. The owner was super responsive a and very kind with answering questions. The layout is terrific so the bedrooms are separate - our kids, nanny, and us all had quiet, separate spaces. The outdoor patio and grill were great and an umbrella and tree offered good mix of sun and shade. The outdoor shower is a real plus! The pool right out the back was so handy! And the neighbors are super friendly. Renting a place is great, but really I’m trying to rent the perfect setting for relaxing and making memories— we could not have chosen a better rental!!

Super location

We rented this house for our adult children to spend Xmas near us. The house was fully equipped and beautiful inside. The owner was easy to contact and responsive. If you are coming to Palm Desert this is the place to stay.

We love the sunshine, the golf, the shopping, the scenery and the people. We researched the entire valley and concluded that the Monterey Country Club was the best resort, close to everything, beautifully maintained, allowing us to have our vacation home in the best place in the entire Coachella Valley.

What makes this property unique

301 Villena Way, Palm Desert, CA, 92260 This Condo patio faces south giving it great sunshine, a view of the mountains and is just 30 feet from the swimming pool and hot tub. Great for morning lap swim, watching the grandkids play, or a late night soak in the hot tub. It is not on the fairway so there are no worries about errant golf balls or golfers disturbing your peace and quiet. There are literally dozens of golf courses within a few miles, the nightlife, restaurants and art galleries of El Paseo Shopping is a few minutes away, and just a few miles further, you are in the mountains south of Palm Desert.
