Located at the Tip of the Door Peninsula is Gills Rock and the The Maple Grove where you can relax, take in the Cedar tree aromas and walk in the woods among 100 yr old Maple Trees that produced 100's of gallons of Maple Syrup back in the day.
Close by is Lake Michigan, Charter Fishing, Restaurants, Galleries, Theater, Maritime Museium and the Island Clipper to Washington Island.
At the end of your fun filled day you come back to your private home in the North Woods. On Wed. and Sat. nights there is live Acoustic music in the Maple Grove Pavilion that will provide you a place to unwind, reconnect with family and make new friends! The Pavilion has a Gas BBQ, Keurig Coffee, Microwave, Picnic and Cafe Tables
This house belonged to the owners of the Maple Grove Motel. It is completely furnished, Bath 1 - Wheel chair access with roll in shower, Full Bath 2 - Shower & Jacuzzi ! Also has Large Kitchen, Elec. stove, Microwave and Full size Refrigerator. Wifi, Hight Def Roku TV, Hydronic Heat, Dumpster, Snow Plowed Drive in winter and immediate access to The Top O Thumb Snowmobile Trails and XX Ski !
