This cosy home is a retro style, double-storey house in a very convenient but quiet location with sunset facing terrace, large private garden, free WI-FI, approx. 100 TV stations, HDMI cable to connect your own laptop to TV, free telephone calls to German landlines and free private car park.
We have a master bedroom that sleeps 2, the second bedroom contains an extra-large electrically adjustable king single bed (elevated for easier access for elderly/sick guests) that could also possibly be used for 2 children and in the living room you will find a quality easy to pull-out small double sofa bed that also accommodates 2 guests.
Another foldable bed can be used in any room of your choice.
Every room has individually adjustable heating.
Toilets are elevated for more ergonomic wellbeing.
All necessities and more are provided.

Dieses gemütliche Haus ist ein zweistöckiges Haus im Retro-Stil in einer sehr günstigen, aber ruhigen Lage mit Terrasse mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang, großem privaten Garten, kostenlosem WI-FI, ca. 100 Fernsehsender, HDMI-Kabel zum Anschließen Ihres eigenen Laptops an den Fernseher, kostenlose Telefonanrufe ins deutsche Festnetz und kostenloser Privatparkplatz.
Wir haben ein Hauptschlafzimmer für 2 Personen, das zweite Schlafzimmer enthält ein extra großes elektrisch verstellbares Kingsize-Einzelbett (erhöht für einen leichteren Zugang für ältere / kranke Gäste), das möglicherweise auch für 2 Kinder verwendet werden kann und im Wohnzimmer befindet sich ein hochwertiges, leicht herausziehbares kleines Doppelschlafsofa, das auch Platz für 2 Gäste bietet.
Ein weiteres aufklappbares Bett steht zur Verfuegung und kann in dem Zimmer Ihrer Wahl aufgestellt werden.
Jedes Zimmer verfügt über eine individuell einstellbare Heizung.
Die Toiletten sind erhöht, um ein ergonomisches Wohlbefinden zu erzielen.

I can't be without an interesting book and enjoy good food and spending time with old and new friends.

Abgesehen davon Zeit mit meiner Familie zu verbringen, ist es mein Hauptziel, ausgiebig zu reisen. Ich habe bisher ca. 40 Länder auf 5 Kontinenten besucht, in der Hoffnung noch viele weitere kennenzulernen. Aber das Beste ist immer, hin und wieder in meine alte Heimat zurueckzukehren. Ich lade Sie ein, mein Heim auch zu genießen. Ich bin selbst viele Jahre auch geschaeftlich gereist und musste leider in unpersoenlichen Hotels unterkommen, da es Plattformen wie Airbnb noch nicht gab. Es freut mich, meinen Gaesten ein bisschen Gemuetlickeit anbieten zu koennen. Ich kann nicht ohne ein interessantes Buch auskommen und genieße gutes Essen und Zeit mit alten und neuen Freunden zu verbringen.

Why they chose this property

This is my original family home with all my childhood memories about growing up in this most pleasant neighbourhood. The location is perfect - a nice quiet, green street but tram, bus and night bus stop only a 2-minute walk away. The centre of the city can be reached by a relaxing walk through park areas, as can all necessary speciality shops, supermarkets and services.
After 35 years I recently was able to take possession of my home again. As I live most of the year in Australia and am only able to stay in my beloved Bielefeld for a couple of months at a time, I have decided to open my house to travellers, who appreciate the warmth of a home compared to a stay in a more impersonal hotel.

Dies ist mein ursprüngliches Familienheim mit all meinen Kindheitserinnerungen an das Aufwachsen in dieser angenehmsten Gegend. Die Lage ist perfekt - eine schöne, ruhige, grüne Straße, aber Straßenbahn-, Bus- und Nachtbushaltestelle nur 2 Gehminuten entfernt. Das Zentrum der Stadt kann mit einem entspannten Spaziergang durch Parkanlagen erreicht werden, ebenso wie alle notwendigen Fachgeschäfte, Supermärkte und Dienstleistungen.
Nach 35 Jahren konnte ich kürzlich mein Haus wieder in Besitz nehmen. Da ich die meiste Zeit des Jahres in Australien lebe und nur ein paar Monate in meinem geliebten Bielefeld bleiben kann, habe ich beschlossen, mein Haus für Reisende zu öffnen, die die Ambience eines Hauses im Vergleich zu einem Aufenthalt in einem eher unpersönlicheres Hotel schätzen.
