We enjoyed our stay but would have liked more supplies - a few more rolls of TP, some Kleenex, hand soap / pumps in the kitchen and bath. House was lovely but had not been thoroughly dusted or mopped prior to arrival. Beach chairs and beach towels would be appreciated. This house was priced higher than others similar and nearby. With attention to these points the price would have been acceptable. And the grill was also not in working order / propane out.

perfect location, beautiful home. everything great. However living room TV needs replacement, I'm sure this will be fixed, if you are planning on staying here, do not hesitate you will love it.

Much Needed Vacay

The ideal location for parents with teenagers. They could come and go to the beach as they pleased. Walk to shops, ice-cream parlor , and snacks. Quiet neighborhood. I wish the pool was a little bigger but it was perfect for me.

Great location, nice to have the pool

Very much enjoy the stay, great location, easy walk to beach, coffee, IMO one of the best beach coffee shops and Resturant above on the beach. Pool is nice to have also. House needs a couple of early season maintenance items (downstair ceiling needs repair from old leak, on of the pool lights is not working. Would recommend and will probably booking again later in the year.

Cute and perfect location!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have a 5yo, 10yo, and an infant. The small pool in the back was perfect and not too deep, I was able to relax without the worry of the little one sneaking in and drowning. Just a short walk to the beach, maybe 2 minutes. Very clean and beds were nice and comfy! LOVE the wrap around porch!! Overall extremely satisfied!

Perfect for our girls teip

The property is wonderful! It looks exactly as pictured. Linsey is a fabulous host and responds immediately to any communication. The location could not be better. A short one block walk to the ocean and a 3 minute drive to stores and restaurants. The neighborhood is clean and quiet with beautiful homes. I would definitely rent this property again.

Lemon Drop was very nice and the walk to the beach was very short. The only problem I had was the driveway is not long enough for two vehicles to park without being on the sidewalk, just wish it could be longer due to having big vehicles.

The reason for the low cleanliness rating was due to seeing roaches. Seen a couple inside and probably a hundred outside by pool area.

Incredible!!

7 off is started at Lemon Drop and we had a fabulous time!! Very close walking distance to the beach (less than 5 minutes) and close to restaurants and stores. Don’t let the size of the pool fool you, it was very refreshing and needed after a long day at the beach. The”room for improvement” I would give is the about… coffee maker: it did not work so we bought coffee from the near by coffee shop. Laundry: bring your own pods and dried sheets to wash and dry Cleaning dishes: no sponge and very little dish detergent Other than that, we would stay here again. We had an amazing stay!!

Summer vacation

The location is great! The house needs a deep cleaning!! For the amount we paid I wouldn't expect anything less than perfect. Everything else was fine we really enjoyed the personal pool because the community pool always had young children there. If you need to speak to some one at The Best Beach Getaways office don't hold your breath. We left some items behind and it was almost impossible to speak to someone, and when I finally spoke to Mike (at the Panama Beach location) he was horribly RUDE! We ultimately got the items returned to us but the way he talked to me was unacceptable. I will not be staying at any property's managed by Best Beach Getaways in the future.

Perfect location to everything!

Our family of 6 adults and one toddler just spent a week at The Lemon Drop and couldn't have been happier with our location. First, the neighborhood is adorable and reminded us of a movie set with a quiet circle of charming homes, gardens and white picket fences. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, the neighborhood pool was just across the street and our small pool perfect for a quick dip. Camille's, a cute breakfast, lunch, dinner spot was just a short block away, and a great stop for a morning coffee, smoothie, sandwich or margarita. They even have afternoon happy hours with live music ( a local guitarist). We also could rent chairs, umbrellas, or bikes next to Camille's for a reasonable cost. We rented bikes for $15/24 hours and biked the wide sidewalk for miles down the beach and loved it. The house was the perfect size for us, comfy rooms, big washer/dryer, well-supplied kitchen. The carpets/stairs need some cleaning, but it is probably hard to keep them clean with all of the sand/beach traffic. There are lots of kid's beach toys in the large storage trunk by the pool and we added more when we left. We spent long hot summer days on the beach, in the neighborhood pool, and in our little yard. The house is nicely air conditioned, lots of ceiling fans, wrap around porches for sun/shade and bath towels. Bring your own beach towels. We loved the Lemon Drop as our beach home for the week!

Vacation was perfect!! Loved this house, community and location!! Walked across the street to Camille’s every morning for coffee and then across the street to the beach. Can’t wait to return next year. 100% recommend!!! Just a note: do not park past the fence post or you’ll be charged a fee. There’s a sign there. Parking holds 2 vehicles. We had a large pickup truck and normal suv and had plenty of room. We rented bicycles and it was so nice riding around the neighborhood every morning.

We loved the area and it was close to the beach and we loved having the private pool. Kids swimmer as we were grilling. Loves the neighborhood to go for an evening walk after the beach as well. Would definitely stay again here. 5 stars

First Destin vacation

Great location close to the beach. The windows could have been cleaner. We were a group of 5 so there was plenty of room. The sofa could use updating. Overall a nice place to stay.

Property was close to beach. However, property has many flaws water leaked from the roof on the dining table when person was taking shower upstairs, water temperature for shower is set ver low in other words hot water is not working. Jacuzzi is not working. Or atleast they did not have instructions how to turn it on.lot of dust noted on the couches. Emergency phone numbers to report water leak listed on their manual are not working.
