Rustic gas fireplace in open floor plan living room and individually controlled heat in each room with heated floors in bathrooms will keep you warm on the snowy Tahoe night. Entertain yourself w/ table games including foosball, pool, ping pong, hockey and more.

Guests will have access to entire cabin and garage space.
Parking includes 1 car garage and 2 driveway spots, as well as 2 spots off street (may not be accessible in winter).
Fully furnished kitchen with washer and dryer in adjacent closet.
2 Smart TVs with live streaming services included.
Board games, books and toys for kids.
Snow sleds can be found in garage storage area.
Backyard has a gently flowing creek and mountain biking trail access.

Our cabin is located within walking distance to Cross Country Ski Center (horseback riding in the summer), 3 min drive to Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort (great for families, guests enjoy discounted rates), Snowplay Area (sledding and tubing) and Trout Creek Recreation Center (gym, heated lap pool, 2 recreation pools, hot tubs, dry sauna, steam room). Note, some amenities require $15 fee (children 7 and under are free) and accessible with guest passes included with the rent . Nice little cabin, comfortable for our family of 4. Beds are comfortable, good showers and functional kitchen allowed us to cook in all our meals. There was a problem with the gas heater but Dmitry sent someone to fix it right away. The driveway is steep so we were happy to have AWD car to manage the snow.

Bright, stylish hideaway!

The owners have put a lot of thought and energy into making every square foot of this cabin beautiful and usable. Unlike a lot of other Tahoe Donner properties, this one is filled with sunshine in every room. The property is not as heavily forested as the rest of Tahoe Donner. Because it's a corner lot, the cabin has more privacy. The Alder Creek trail is out the backdoor which is wonderful. The interior has been updated to a mid-century modern feel. The kitchen is small, but well-stocked.

Modern Cabin with a winter wonderland in the backyard

We loved our stay here so much we didn’t really leave the property or sight see. It’s seriously perfect for little kid sledding. There’s a big hill, tons of snow for snowman and snowball fights and there was even an igloo cave in the backyard when we came. It’s so nice to visit the snow and not have to stay in a dark old outdated place. The one thing I will say is that when we arrived the snow was as high as the roof and nothing had been or was while we were there shoveled or plowed on the driveway or to get to the front door. So getting our luggage and just getting in and out of the house for things was challenging. There was lots of ice everywhere and no salt to put down, so while packing to leave my husband slipped in the garage by the broken door that wouldn’t close and badly dislocated his shoulder. We had to spend the next several hours in the emergency room before driving ten hours back home. Ten months later and he still has pain, stiffness and lack of mobility in his shoulder. He is a young athletic guy so this was a tough hit for our family.

House was nice but location inconvenient

Pros: Fast communication and responses, answers questions quickly. Hot running water, plumbing, and heat was in good shape. There was temperature control for every single room and floor heating in the bathrooms. Has all cookware and bakeware, electric kettle, toaster, and coffee maker, full knife set, cooking utensils, microwave, can opener, salt & pepper; no cooking oil though. Has soft towels and even bath mats for bathrooms. Very clean house, clean kitchen, fridge, bedrooms, and bathrooms; cleaning crew is amazing and detailed; got every corner. Good house layout; open kitchen and living room concept with 2 bedrooms and bathroom accessible downstairs. Well decorated house Dog friendly; the house even came with dog bowls. Had adequate toilet paper, paper towels, conditioner, shampoo, body wash, dish soap, hand soap, hair dryer, bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, kitchen towels Had blanket throws and pillows for the couch. High tech house with nest thermostat and smart TVs (roku) Cons: There were two leaks in the house that we noticed the first night (living room window and the cabinet above the sink). The handyman came by but couldn’t do anything due to heavy snow. Sliding door window shade was detached and on the floor Walkway and driveway were obviously not maintained or pre-treated with salt, had to keep shoveling a walkway to the house which is far from driveway. Driveway gets very icy and steep incline makes it hard to get out. This impacted our plans due to car getting stuck Snow blower was not working and no way to charge it due to missing electric cord Pretty obvious no one lives here There was no snow melt or salt even though that was supposed to be provided. Cabin was obviously not prepared and equipped for blizzards even though it happens frequently during the winter season. The cabin should have been more prepared. We had to go out and buy a lot of things due to lack of preparation. We were told we could only park one car in the garage the day before the trip since the other half is for storage There is a plow service that takes care of the snow in the driveway if it is free of cars. We were not made aware of this service which meant that the driveway was not plowed for the first day and a half. Afterwards because we couldn’t fit the second car in the garage we had to shovel several times each day. We came during a bad storm but over the course of a 3 day stay we spent over 6 hours shoveling.

Thanksgiving vacation at Doner Tahoe

It was great choice for our family to stay at this property during Thanksgiving vacation. The cabin is spacious, very well maintained, clean and comfortable. The cabin itself beautiful, with large windows overlooking great views, high ceilings. Our kids enjoyed the games on the second floor, played with snow outside. Beds were very comfortable. Master bedroom is cozy, great mattress, beautiful shower. But for me the most important thing was the cleanliness of the cabin. Great stay!

Great little house

Really enjoy the location and the beauty of the house. Dmitry was quick to respond to any questions and was a great landlord. Only things to mention is the ceilings are not that high and as I'm 6'5" is was a tad uncomfortable in some places. The backyard is AMAZING and we had so much fun playing outside.
