Lovely area and home. Size was fabulous for 6 adults and 3 small children/ babies. Nice short walk to the beach. Everyone was happy and we would rent again !!Host was very responsive.

we had a family vacation in august. overall a great home. spacious, open nice pool and hot tub short walk to a beautiful quiet beach. a few hiccups. they allowed early check in but we didn't know where the key was but found it. pool hadn't been cleaned yet but richard got it done. the biggest hiccup was we lost hot water for 24 hours and were told it could last all weekend because plumbers don't work on weekends in florida. , Luckily again richard fixed it in 24 hours. But we lost it again a few days later- only a few hours until it was fixed that time. .

We were happy to accommodate your early check-in, and I apologize that the location of the key wasn’t clear. The pool is normally cleaned on Fridays since most of our rentals begin on Saturdays, but we were able to have it cleaned right away. Regarding the hot water, the water heater was replaced just two years ago and appears to have tripped, possibly due to the weather. We were able to get it working again as quickly as possible, and when the issue briefly occurred again later in your stay, we addressed it within a few hours. Since your visit, we have had the system professionally serviced and confirmed that it is in excellent working condition. With a home that is rented continuously throughout the season, an unexpected maintenance issue can occasionally arise. We always do everything possible to respond quickly and minimize the inconvenience to our guests. During the hot-water issue, we also offered the use of our other private property less than a mile away for showers. We truly appreciate your patience and are glad that, despite these issues, you had a great family vacation. We would love to welcome you back and would be happy to offer you a discount on a future stay.

Our extended family enjoyed the pool and long walks on the beach and along the well positioned sidewalks. The neighborhood is safe and protected behind the electronic gate. We would definitely stay again.

The owner and property manager were very friendly, responsive, and helpful in making every aspect of our stay pleasant and easy.Our stay exceeded our expectations in every way and we look forward to returning!

Our family chose this home because it appeared to be a great fit for our vacation, especially because of its accessibility features. Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by several maintenance issues.The most significant issue was the refrigerator/freezer, which did not maintain safe temperatures. As a result, we lost approximately 500 worth of groceries that had to be discarded and replaced during our vacation. We used the appliance normally as any guest would and did not remove or reinstall any part of the freezer. While appliance failures can happen, this created a significant inconvenience and expense for our family.There were also other maintenance concerns. We reported a leak in the garage ceiling and were told someone would be coming the following week to address it. Before that happened, a large section of the garage ceiling collapsed. Thankfully, no one was underneath it and no one was injured, but it was concerning to see such a significant issue occur during our stay.Several beds were in need of repair, and although the kitchen appeared well stocked, many of the pots and pans were too worn to be practical.What was most disappointing was how the refrigerator issue was handled afterward. We documented the loss of our groceries and requested reimbursement, but after multiple conversations, the matter remained unresolved. Unexpected issues can happen, but guests should be treated fairly and concerns should be addressed with accountability.

Thank you for your review. We’re disappointed to read comments that do not accurately reflect the property or our communication during your stay. I want to clarify a few points regarding the concerns you raised. Our records show that we responded promptly to all messages and addressed concerns as they were brought to our attention. We have been renting the house continuously since January of this year without any complaints, and for the past 19 years we have never experienced anything like this. I take great pride in how we maintain the house, and I have always taken recommendations and concerns seriously and addressed them promptly. The refrigerator is new, and it was your responsibility to make sure the freezer drawer was closed properly. The renters immediately before and after you have had no problems with it. You also rented the house for two people but had eight people staying there, which raises concerns about whether the rental agreement was being followed and about the accuracy of the information provided to us. Regarding the air conditioner, there was a leak, but it has been addressed and repaired. There was never any danger to anyone; only a small piece of sheetrock fell in the garage. Finally, there are no broken beds, and the pots and pans are in good condition. We have worked hard to maintain the property properly and respond to issues when they arise, and we expect the property to be treated with the same level of care and respect.

Winter getaway

Very nice house. The host was excellent, making sure that everything was in order. Great house for families. We enjoyed the pool, plenty of room for everyone and I especially liked the office so that I could get work done. Close to downtown Vero but far enough to be private. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood walking distance to the beach, this is perfect.

Spectacular Vero Beach luxury home

We stayed for a total of two weeks in this fabulous home. First week with family, second week just myself with my husband. House is so much better than pictures depict! Such a great location to the beach and beautiful backyard pool. The property manager, Richard is so nice and very responsive. We had a beautiful two weeks of fun and would highly recommend this beautiful home,

Perfect house for our family vacation!

Our family had a wonderful stay!! It is a beautiful house that you feel comfortable in right away. Everyone had their own space, so we never felt like we were on top of each other. It was nice to have an office area for those who needed to check in with work during the week. The pool was perfect and used every day! The beach access was an easy walk that we all enjoyed every morning and night after dinner. The beach wagon was definitely appreciated! The location of the house was nice. Easy to get to the grocery store, restaurants and the Navy Seal Museum was a big hit with our grandsons! The communication was awesome! Questions were answered VERY quickly! Everything that is listed was there which is so appreciated. We had an amazing week in an amazing home!

Lovely

We shared this home with another family while our sons were at a spring break training camp at the Jackie Robinson training facility (Dodgertown). The house was spacious and spotless. The covered poolside patio was a perfect retreat during the rainy days. We could play cards, grill out and not be affected by the weather at all. I have rented houses for years now and one of the things I find important to me is what supplies are available if you cannot get to the store right away. With the baseball schedule we were unable to get back to the house until 10 pm. The house had everything we needed and then some. The owner is great to work with and the atmosphere is lovely. I would definitely recommend.

Great House - Comfortable & Roomy - Great Access to Ocean

Lots of room to enjoy, wonderful pool area, great access to beach across the street. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood to be in. Could have had better communication when we arrived, no notebooks outlining nearby attractions, restaurants and places to see, which is pretty standard. No directions on turning on the pool filter and spa; pool was a somewhat dirty with bugs when we arrived & filter not running. Later found out iPhone there was attached to pool/spa controls. (Note: iPhone "find my phone" alarm went off at 1:20 AM and scared the heck out of us!). All information should be there, as with other properties we have visited. Honestly, if you list a grill as an amenity, that grill should be equipped and ready to use. We were ready to grill burgers and had to run out & purchase propane and we did not receive a reimbursement when asked. Why advertise a grill if you have to buy propane? Never had that happen at a property we rented. (Amenities should be part of the home rental price). We used a broken broom to sweep the kitchen but no dust pan was found. Purchased bathroom tissue and paper towels only to find 2 large boxes of these items in garage later. (Helpful to get that notebook going with details :) Beds were comfortable and so was indoor temperature. The weather was great but could not sit outdoors at night due to lots of mosquitoes, so be prepared. In the daytime, the pool & the ocean were really, really wonderful. The beach is so private and gorgeous, it felt like we had it all to ourselves. We picked up a lot of trash on the beach from Hurricane Ian on our daily walks. We always clean up the rental home and leave all properties clean, even when on vacation! All beach towels were washed, dried & folded and we started a load of bed sheets before we left. Hope they get a notebook together with information for future guests. Thanks for sharing your spacious home with us.

I take all reviews very seriously and have never had the concerns that this tenant had. Unfortunately the property manager had a family situation and had to leave town before the tenants arrived. This was very unfortunate and was the root of the problems. This has never happened before and will never happen again. The pool filter is on a timer and goes on every day, the pool was also cleaned right before their arrival. There was a tropical storm that week which caused there to be a lot of debris and bugs around. We immediately had the pool cleaned again after hearing form the tenants. There are three propane tanks for the grill and we do fill them on a regular basis. I also gave this tenant a $500 refund for their troubles. Up to this point all of the information about the house has been given verbally. I have taken the advice on a notebook with house information, pool operation, internet, restaurants and local attractions and it is now available upon arrival. I am very sorry this happened and I can assure you this will never happen again. I take great pride in renting our home and want everyone to enjoy it as much as we do. My apologies for what happened and know we will take great care of you if you come again. Best, Dave

This property was absolutely wonderful! It checked all our boxes of what we were looking for in a house for a family vacation with some extra amenities that were very appreciated. Having all King size beds was great for multiple couples. The location and proximity to the beach was fabulous and in such a secluded and quiet area away from public beach access but still close enough to a lot of restaurants and only a couple minutes from a Publix. Most of the time it felt like we had the beach all to ourselves! We loved the dining table in the sun room and enjoyed many meals and family games there. There were lots of areas to hang out as a whole family or separately. The huge TV’s were awesome! The pool was a wonderful bonus and so relaxing and well thought out; very private and all the water features and temperature controls made it feel so spa like. The boardwalk to the beach was so nice, with foot washing stations and benches along the way, it was a nice way to travel back and forth. The balcony on the second floor that received afternoon shade was a hit with everyone, many naps were had there listening to the ocean waves! Lots of dolphins and pelicans and sea turtles nesting too. All in all, a very relaxing trip and we didn’t leave the house except for dinner out each day!

We are a young active family of 5 . We love Vero Beach as it is such a beautiful place with so much to offer. We spend every December at the house for the holidays and head down whenever we can. Vero is truly a wonderful place with so much to offer.

Why they chose this property

This home is beautifully decorated with all of the comforts you would want. New large screen TV's, new grill, upgraded towels and linens, ceiling fans in every room top line appliances and much more.

What makes this property unique

We chose Vero Beach because it is such a pretty town that is not overrun with people and traffic. There are excellent restaurants and the down town area has great shops, fun nightlife and much more. We visited many FL towns and found Vero to be the right fit.
Our home is uniquely set up for two families and has all the comforts of a luxury home. The house is not cluttered with too much stuff yet offers all of the needed amenities and much more. The private access to the beach is a real bonus as the beach is spectacular. We supply all of the beach chairs, toys, cooler, towels etc.
