Welcome to the Blue Door Cottage! This adorable 1950’s 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home has plantation shutters throughout and character all around! We want this home to be comfy enough for our own family so the eclectic decor and bright colors match our style. The full kitchen opens up into the dining/living room so is great for entertaining! Whether you’re here to work, visit friends or family or to see what Middle Tennessee has to offer, we are sure to have the right space for you!

This is the downstairs unit of a home that does have a separate upstairs apartment, separated by a locked interior staircase. These are separate units with no shared spaces, other than the yard if used. We do have a listing to book the entire 4 bedroom home if interested.

You have everything you need here for a quick weekend getaway or a longer stay for a work group. The biggest highlights?

Accomodations were fantastic. Super clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Owners were very responsive with communications for check in. Nice touches were the toiletries provided. Shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower, along with qtips and cotton balls. Location is about 35 minutes from downtown Nashville so it's not super close but still close enough. Sufficient free parking too! 100% would stay here again.

Best Cozy Cottage for a Girls Weekend!

My friends and I stayed here for the two nights before my wedding and absolutely loved it! There were 8 of us total and we comfortably fit into the cottage! It was such a great location with easy access to local amentities.

I got to be a mom again

My mother and I had a great time visiting my son for his 23rd birthday! He stays in a small apartment so we decided to stay here so we had room to just hang out. The house was comfortable and had everything we possibly could need. It was quiet and close to all kinds of stores and restaurants. It was wonderful just to hang out with my boy, celebrate his birthday and cook him a birthday breakfast. We will stay again if we are coming to the area.

We are a true Southern family and pride ourselves on welcoming everyone and never meeting a stranger! We love to take our boys on adventures, sometimes with a just few hours notice. Because of that, we really appreciate when we find great accommodations whether with friends or at a warm, cozy VRBO, which is why we want to make sure ours is just that!

Aside from traveling, we love music and have fun taking our boys (ALL 4!) to festivals in the warmer weather (which is sometimes January around here)! When we travel, we are always on the lookout for good food and local hangouts so, rest assured, you won't get the "tourist trap" recommendations from us. ;)

We like to live life to the fullest...making each moment count!
