It was very clean, and everything was as it appears in the photos. Very convenient to walk into town, and Ubers to the various wineries were easy and fast to get. My wife liked it so much, she said she wants to buy a place like it to retire to lol. Highly recommended!

Charming Firehouse

From the very start the communication and booking process was seamless. The firehouse was very charming and clean. Emerson park was fun for the grandchildren and was a short walk from the house. We truly enjoyed our stay and book again.

Great House in a cute little town

Really enjoyed the comfy, and clean house in a great little town. The house was in a great location, able to walk to and from downtown, to and from the Lake. The downtown area had some very good restaurants, wineries, and pubs. We also visited the little book store and some of the sandwich places and coffee houses. It was a great week. The owners/Host were very nice and easy to work with. Thanks to them.

Beautiful place, great layout, well equipped kitchen. Great location, quiet, within 1/2 mile of downtown with numerous shops and restaurants etc. Also a few other dining shopping places and a nice park/playground just 1-2 blocks away. Did not have need for much communication but when did owners very responsive and helpful. Was a little concerned about street parking when made reservations and prefer garage parking when available but never had to compete for a spot. Parked directly in front of the home entire time we were there. Will definitely consider this property if available on future visits.

Great weekend getaway

We visited several wineries during the day and had two delicious dinners. The house was clean, well appointed, and the location was perfect. All the appliances were in good condition and the bedrooms had ceiling fans. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lodi.

My husband and I had a lovely stay. Everything was perfect. I loved everything the kitchen, the linens and beds were comfortable as well as the living room. Beautiful neighborhood, There was a lovely place one block away called The Hidden Tea Room, I would highly recommend and if you love Italian food don"t miss visiting Pietro's. Enjoy!

Hello travelers and adventurers! Welcome to the Locust Street Firehouse in charming Downtown Lodi. We took this abandoned Locust Street house and renovated it into this tastefully decorated and comfortable vacation home... Rumor has it, this Locust Street house was the old Downtown Firehouse.

A little about us: Our families are deeply rooted in Lodi, since moving here in the early 1910s. We have been involved in the Wine/Agriculture business for decades, spanning four generations. Andy has been a grape farmer all his life, and Janice has been a registered nurse for the last 20+ years. The house we call home is located in Lodi, out in the country, where we enjoy hosting our large and growing family for holidays and celebrations.

Why they chose this property

We’ve always loved the charm of downtown Lodi, especially its beautiful tree-lined streets that showcase the changing seasons. Creating a space within walking distance of downtown was important to us, so guests can easily enjoy local shops, dining, and the relaxed pace of the area on foot.

Guests are able to enjoy the best of both worlds at the Locust Street Firehouse—it's peaceful and private on a wide, tree-shaded street, while still within walking distance to all the activities in Downtown Lodi.
