Super cute country home, minutes from Galena. Perfect for 3 couples, everyone had their own suite. There were 2 sitting/TV rooms. And the porch was great. Sat there a few mornings with our coffee. Definitely will go back.

A beautiful and quiet retreat. The perfect place for my parents to go creek stomping and look at crawdads with their grandson. I would love to see it in the fall.

The home is clean, spacious and beautiful and the surrounding land is serene and peaceful. You can't believe that you are only minutes away from downtown galena! The wrap around front porch offered a much-welcomed respite for our travels. Our host communicated with us before our stay and was readily available during our stay. All in all, a great property!

This home is in a wonderful spot nestled in the woods. And yet, it is very close to town for a short drive onto the restaurants and shops of Galena. Very spacious home and each bedroom is a wonderful suite. Great kitchen and well supplied. The front porch is huge and gas wonderful chairs to set in and visit and enjoy the wooded area. Hosts are simply very nice people.

This is an amazing rental! We did a sister trip and had plenty of room for all 7 of us. Close to downtown Galena but very private. We pretty much spent the entire time on the front porch and walking the property. Larry was very nice and accommodating. Will defiantly rent again! Thank you!

Such a lovely spot to gather for a 60th birthday celebration! The plan was to enjoy shopping and wineries in downtown Galena; but with the host's attention to detail, we barely wanted to leave the property. Absolutely wonderful! Clean, well stocked, and the land surrounding the home is stunning and quiet - like staying at a national park but with comfortable beds to sleep in after an evening by the fire, enjoying a beautiful starry sky.Highly recommend!
