Perfect lakeside cottage for the 2 of us- great location- kayaking, fishing, very quiet spot on the lake. Host was receptive and accommodating!

Fantastic little cabin just right for 2 and our fur baby. Setting was absolutely gorgeous. Property had natural barriers to keep our pup from visiting the neighbors. Lots of room for him to play. Excellent swimming, shale bottom, very clean lake. Huge fire pit just right for watching the sunset. House was clean, comfortable bed, lots of hot water in the shower. Cute welcome bag! Hammondsport is a darling little town and there are dozens of dog-friendly wineries. Hope to visit again!

Willow Point Cottage was absolutely charming. It was quaint, exceptionally clean, and the perfect getaway for my friend visiting from Colorado. We came hoping for a few days to relax and reconnect, and this little cottage gave us exactly that.Some of our favorite moments were simply sitting by beautiful Keuka Lake, enjoying a fire at night, and having our morning coffee out on the deck. It was peaceful, comfortable, and exactly the change of pace we were looking for.One of the best surprises was the kitchen! It was incredibly well stocked with just about every cooking utensil and gadget we could possibly need, which made staying in and cooking together such an unexpected pleasure. We ended up enjoying meals at the cottage as much as going out.The location was also wonderful. It was close enough to Hammondsport, wineries, restaurants and everything we wanted to explore, yet tucked away enough to truly relax by the lake.Willow Point gave us a beautiful place to slow down, laugh, cook, relax and make some wonderful memories together. We would absolutely stay again!

Pros. Great location on the lake. Lovely garden. Dog could swim all day. Nice and quiet as nearby houses are on upper level. House is basic. No dishwasher or laundry equipment. But we expect that when renting with a dog. Upstairs bedroom was small but clean and great views. But blinds didn't work. So get used to early rising. Nice firepit, and plenty of wood.Cons. For the money charged I would expect the place to be better maintained. Outside chairs were cracked and worn. No working torches during a power outage. Disappointing that not even a washing up sponge provided. Very mean. Finally we were only two people, so the upstairs bedroom was fine for us. Not sure I would like to sleep in the downstairs one. Very little ventilation. Smelt damp. Small window.
