Great location!

We enjoyed our stay and the property was just as advertised. We were able to walk to close restaurants, coffee shops and of course the beach. Loved having the pool to come back to after a day out. We would stay here again.

Family beach vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! We loved that there was the inlet of water right behind end every unit has a beautiful view. If you’re lucky you might even see a manatee!! The location is great and about a 5 minute walk from Publix. We didn’t rent a car and pretty much walked to everything. I think it was a good size for 4 people. Pool was smaller but nice and clean! Would definitely stay here again.

This is our third stay at Sunrise, but our first time in unit 401.Pros:Great view of the bay. Many manatee sightings.Nice kitchen appliances, ice maker was a plus.Beach/Pool Towels furnished as well as beach chairs, wagon, and various toys if you have kids.Great water pressure in the showers.Beds were comfortable.Walking distance to many restaurants, and the beach is across the street.Improvements:The dining table takes up too much room in the unit.One couch and one chair in the living room. So, if you had more than 2 people staying there, you didn't have enough room to relax.It could use a paint job with a bit of color to brighten the space. Many spackled holes weren't sanded or repainted. In the main bedroom, there was a cotton swab sticking out of a spackled hole. Not sure why, unless a guest put it there, assuming it may have been a spy camera hole.The back deck could use some new furniture. One rusting table, with chairs that are starting to come apart, plus a tall glass top round table that served no purpose.The TVs were tricky to figure out how to turn on. Way too many remotes in the living room.The sliding glass door did not lock, but thankfully, there was a metal bar you could put in the door track.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were in town for a vacation and a wedding and really enjoyed our stay. Unit was well-appointed with thoughtful supplies. Loved being able to look at the bay from the back porch and the Gulf from the front! And enjoyed that the pool is in the sun through lunchtime and then gets shade in the heat of the late afternoon when we were too hot on the beach. Orientation also keeps the back porch and living spaces from getting too hot or having to close blinds through sunset. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. This was our 2nd time staying here and will definitely come back in the future!

Reviewer Comments: Sunrise is a fabulous location- only a few minutes walk to the beach across the street, but also located in beautifully kept grounds on the waterway. We did indeed see manatees (mother and her baby) right under our balcony and a group of dolphins!Management team were very helpful letting us know our accommodation was ready to access, and we were grateful for being able to get in before the official check in time. The accommodation was very clean on arrival. Nice bed linens, firm beds (actually our preference), great fridge/freezer (lots of ice!), useful washer, dryer and dishwasher. Lovely pool that was very warm in July. Unit 401 could maybe do with some decorative touch-ups and, if I owned it, a new kitchen! But this in no way affected our enjoyment. Maybe the owner could invest in more comfortable patio furniture and a blender (for iced drinks) would be my only suggestion. I do recommend both Sunrise and Unit 401 (low numbers on each floor have the best views in my opinion!)

It was perfect to start the day with a cup of coffee on the beautiful balcony and listen to the birds and just enjoy the scenery. The pool was perfect. We were able to use the grills for lunches and if we wanted to go out to eat, there are many fantastic restaurants just a short walk. We loved this location so much, we have already booked our next vacation!

Best of the Beach and the Bay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in this unit. It was the perfect size for two couples. I think that it would be a little small for more than that. The view of the canal was great (there were manatees all day there!) and the walk to the beach was short, just across the street. We did note some maintenance issues that needed to be taken care of at the end of our stay but nothing that affected how the stay was. I will say that the second bed, listed as a queen, was more like a full bed and was not very comfortable. The king in the master was great, though. Over all a great stay.

A Beautiful Vacation Rental

Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Unit 401 in Sunrise Resort from 3/12-3/25. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. We saw many manatees and dolphins during our stay. The unit has a new updated kitchen if that’s your thing. We went out every night to enjoy the many restaurants in St Pete’s. Sunrise is conveniently located to the many things St Pete’s has to offer. I would highly recommend Sunrise Resort as your vacation destination
