Wonderful house and location.

House was amazing, views were unbelievable and had everything a family could ask for. Plenty to do in surrounding area but highlight was the pool and hot tub.

An exceptional stay at a beautiful property

Wonderful Week.

We had a marvellous week in Payzac. The house provided everything we needed and more, with stunning views and beautiful landscapes from various spots around the property, including the pool, which we mostly enjoyed after 3 PM. Apart from a few pleasant chats, the owners were largely unobtrusive. The small village has a convenient shop for essentials like baguettes, as well as a charming local restaurant. Some of us spent most of the time relaxing and soaking in the scenery, while others enjoyed cycling through the often tranquil hills. It was truly a wonderful week.

Exquisite Property, Gracious Hospitality

This is a gorgeous, newly renovated guest house on the grounds of a chateau. Everything, from the grounds to the bedding is immaculate. The charming manager, Blandine, was gracious and helpful in every respect. We particularly relished the spectacular view and the excellent heated pool. We took the train to Avignon and drove to Les Chanels through a spectacular landscape (though one should have an experienced driver at the wheel for some of the roads). The three-story residence was attractively furnished and comfortable, but not suitable for small children and people with mobility issues because of the narrow spiral staircase, and many flights of steep steps outdoors. There were thoughtful provisions for dining and sunning outdoors in various locations, and sumptuous flowers, lavender, and olive groves on every side.

Spectacular

The gite is tucked away just outside the village of Payzac in a very private and spectacular setting with incredible vistas. We arrived on motorbikes and were greeted on arrival where we were shown to a private courtyard. The gite is at the bottom of fairly steep driveway and hidden from view by the Chateau which is occupied by the owners. The Gite is built on a steep hillside and is therefore looks like a single story building from the courtyard but once in its actually arranged over 3 floors. The stair cases are steep so its not for the faint hearted but the layout does provide plenty of privacy.Each bedroom had a fan, there is no air conditioning, at the time we were there the weather was very hot indeed. If you keep the shutters closed throughout the day its just about bearable at night. The pool area is exclusive to the gite and continues the theme of great views across the Ardeche. The pool is large and really clean, there are plenty of beds etc. Again plenty of steps to navigate en route to the pool which need to be taken slowly.There are shops and supermarkets within a 10-15 min drive. All in all a really lovely place, we would return without hesitation.

Tout a été parfait, du début à la fin. D'abord l'accueil et le suivi de Blandine ; tout était limpide, simple, sans surprise. La maison est très bien bien équipée, avec un vrai souci du détail. La piscine est magnifique. Et que dire du jacuzzi face aux montagnes ardéchoises... Mais le plus impressionnant dans cette maison, c'est la panorama. Les photos sont très belles, mais loin de la réalité.

Très belle propriété avec une vue magnifique. Ideal pour se déconnecter, plusieurs terrasses toujours avec la très belle vue . La maison est parfaite et très confortable la cuisine est complète . La maison et le lieu sont tels que décrit dans l’annonce : exceptionnels ! Cette location a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un séjour agréable : une grande pièce à vivre, des terrasses et une vue sublime sur les environs. La literie est très confortable, les chambres et salles de bain sont spacieuses et propres, la piscine est grande, propre, avec une vue magnifique sur les environs, le jacuzzi a lui aussi une belle vue. Je le conseil particulièrement au début de la nuit, c’est magique. Important, puisque la maison est dans un grand domaine, les propriétaires sont charmants et très discrets. Si vous recherchez une location au calme, avec un haut niveau de prestation et de confort, c’est l’endroit qu’il vous faut.

Inmitten eines wunderschönen Anwesens ist das Ferienhaus in der Orangerie des Schlosses sehr liebevoll gestaltet und perfekt ausgestattet. Der traumhafte Ausblick und der wunderbare Pool haben Groß und Klein in der Familie gut gefallen. Blandine hat uns herzlich empfangen und war immer für uns ansprechbar. Es war eine wundervolle Woche für uns und herzlichen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft! Au milieu d'une belle propriété, la maison de vacances dans l'orangerie du château a été conçue avec amour et parfaitement équipée. La vue fantastique et la magnifique piscine ont été appréciées par les petits et les grands de la famille. Blandine nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux et a toujours été disponible pour nous. Ce fut une semaine merveilleuse pour nous et un grand merci pour la grande hospitalité! Merci bien !!!!!

Il y a des endroits qui annoncent une belle vue et rien d'autre. Cet endroit a l'une des vues les plus spectaculaires, mais c'est l'une des maisons les mieux pensées et les mieux équipées que nous ayons jamais louées.
