Very quaint old home with so much character. Beautiful views and comfortable furniture and beds. In a very quaint part of town with access to walking and the lake. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.
This was my first experience with renting a house through Vrbo and everything went as smoothly as possible. The communication from the home owner was very good, the house was clean and had the basic essentials for our stay. It is an older home with very unique and beautiful features with upgrades to the kitchen and bathroom.
We had a great 3-night stay. The house offered great river views and was walkable to two restaurants that we really enjoyed. House is walkable to a company where kayaks, canoes, and bikes can be rented. Communication with host was great. Would stay here again when in the area.
We were visiting University of Hartford and this was the perfect place to stay outside of the city. Great space with all the conveniences of home. Wonderful food options within walking distance.
A very nice period home in a beautiful setting. The home is immaculate with all of the necessary essentials for an extended stay. The host is very responsive and keeps in touch to ensure that your stay is as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
Amazing house! Amazing host. Such a nice location! Had a wonderful time. The host has thought of everything to make it super special. The views of the river are so relaxing and enticing.
We had a perfect stay - the house is adorable and was just right for two of us. The river and neighborhood are great, as was the proximity to the center of town. We'll be back!
The view is breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and very clean! The owner is very nice and available if you have any problems. We enjoyed our stay and definitely plan on a return stay.
This house is quaint and beautiful. The location cannot be beat and the views are simply amazing. You will not be disappointed if you book this property. The host was very accommodating and gracious. Any season of the year will be spectacular in this home.
This house was perfect for our visit to central CT. Great views, easy access to Collinsville center for food and the rail trail for morning runs, and plenty of space for a family if 4. Carol was very attentive and even brought extra games over for our kids! Would definitely stay again.
Was wonderful to see our family and the game room was perfect Would love a bit more comfortable furnishings and bed in master and a bit more kitchen cooking items but overall was wonderful

Hi Becky,
I'm glad you had a nice stay. If there are specific kitchen items you would suggest please let me know.
Thanks!
Carol
WONDERFUL cottage-like home in a perfect location....amazing river views, and plenty of walking trails abound. Being able to walk to the small, "New England" town center was a huge bonus, and the food/atmosphere in the local restaurants was excellent. We would certainly stay here again - thank you Carol, for being a fantastic host - the house was ready early, spotless, and again, had plenty to offer!
We were in town for several days for a family wedding. This space was a lovely retreat to return to at the end of busy days, and in easy reach of a variety of food options. The house was impeccable and had everything we could have need. The view of the bend in the river is especially dramatic.
Wonderful spot in quaint Collinsville where you can kayak, shop the farmer's market on Sunday, or walk the beautiful walking/biking trails. This is a home away from home. The owner, Carol, is helpful and available should you need assistance. I plan on a return visit next year.
Home away from home, truly! But with a view and location to die for! Something for everyone: watersports, idyllic walks, bicycling, nearby amusement parks…you name it! We keep coming back- a new tradition…so happy that a place like this exists.
