The Cozy Cabin at Cabins on the Square is our smallest and most intimate stand-alone cabin, designed for couples seeking a romantic, private getaway in an unbeatable downtown Wimberley location. Tucked along the edge of the property, this detached cabin offers its own charm and a peaceful retreat just steps from the heart of town.

The space is intentionally compact, with a cozy layout and a smaller private bathroom. There isn’t much extra room beyond what you need—but that’s part of the appeal. If you’re looking for a charming, private cabin rather than a spacious suite, the Cozy Cabin is a great fit.

Sleep comfortably in a king bed dressed with ultra-soft Comphy® sheets, a down comforter, and plush pillows. The private bathroom includes a walk-in shower, thick soft towels, and complimentary toiletries.
Amenities include a mini-refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, and Smart TV with cable. Step outside to your private porch—perfect for quiet mornings or relaxed evenings.

Guests also enjoy shared access to 200 feet of spring-fed Cypress Creek, including a creekside deck, table seating, and shaded areas to unwind. Despite the secluded feel, you’re right in the middle of downtown Wimberley—walk to coffee shops, restaurants, live music, art galleries, shopping, and local events. Rooms clean. Very convenient for town center shopping and relaxing. We usually stay outside of town and drive in but this was very nice to be able to walk around and not worry about parking. You do have to watch for people not staying taking your parking spot but all in all great time.

Wonderful Stay Right on Cypress Creek!

What a beautiful, serene property right on Cypress Creek. The location is perfect. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the trail to Blue Hole. Our room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Perfect spot to explore the town and surrounding areas. Was just my wife and i but would be tons of fun to rent out all the rooms. Did not need to drive anywhere in town once you arrive and i honestly think the pictures of this place did not do it justice you must see for yourself!

I prefer to book one of the suites even when traveling with my husband bc they have larger space and larger bathroom for all the things.. Some ppl still prefer the king bed and cozy being it's own cabin.. However, I'm a girl that brings "stuff" and like you said need the space :) Come back to see us!

Access to everything, but also quiet

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay in the cozy cabin! The weather was gorgeous, so we sat by the creek, enjoyed the fire pit both nights, and the little cabin was tiny, but perfect. If the weather was not great, it might be a bit tight, but we really spent most of our time outside enjoying the area. All of the shopping and restaurants were less than a 5 minute walk. We did not move our vehicle for the entire stay because we didn’t need to. We will definitely be back!

We had a very good experience. Great location in town. Only issue we had was that it is very small or tight. Pictures don’t quite depict that but that’s not owners fault. Very clean, made new friends, and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Great location

The cabin was a great location for all the shopping we did and for great places to eat. I did not give it all five stars only because it was a bit smaller than expected, but it worked out fine. I also felt it was a little pricey, but again, the location is what made it something to over looked. We pretty much parked once and hardly ever moved the car. I would totally stay here again but would maybe pick one of the other cabins with more room.
