With whisky distilleries to discover, fishing on the River Spey and an abundance of golf courses, Newlands is a superb holiday home in this beautiful region of Scotland. Town: Archiestown is a pretty Morayshire village to the north of the River Spey. The village is in a designated conservation area and is home to a shop, Post Office, hotel and craft shops. Archiestown is situated on the Malt Whisky Trail, and the famous MacAllan Distillery is to the east and the Cardhu Distillery is to the west. Aberlour, close by, is home to the Walkers Shortbread factory.

Central location in Speyside. Our aim was to visit a number of distilleries, which was very easy from this location.

Really enjoyed our stay my doggie lay on the grass loved it

I thought with being next to the main road it would be noisy but it was NOT enjoyed our stay
