Horrace Farm Cottage is a semi-detached cottage in the village of Pennington on the Lake District Peninsula. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom and one twin with a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with dining area and sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for three cars and a patio with outdoor furniture. Situated on the Lake District Peninsula, Horrace Farm Cottage is a lovely holiday cottage all year round.

Locally, the start of the Haematite and Cumbrian Way footpaths can be located, and the twin pubs at Great Urswick Tarn are renowned locally for their fine ales and good food. Pennington's nearby neighbour, Ulverston, is an ancient market town that still holds a street market every Thursday and Saturday. Today, the town is well known as a “Festival Town”, with events throughout the year, and as the birthplace of Stan Laurel - it is now home to the only Laurel and Hardy museum in the world! Facilities include a wide range of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a leisure centre.
