This end-terrace cottage is located in the village of Staithes and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Bulmers Cottage is an end-terrace cottage in the village of Staithes just ten miles from Whitby. The cottage can sleep four people and has one double bedroom on the first floor and another in the eaves on the second floor with a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are an open plan fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with multi-fuel stove. Outside is parking in public and private car parks, just a 10 minute walk away at the top of the bank (can purchase weekly permits, £5 per night in peak season) and there is an outside area with a bench. Situated on the Yorkshire Coast, Bulmers Cottage is a lovely family holiday cottage all year round.
Amenities: Electric night storage heaters with multi-fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with FreeSat, DVD, radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and all coal for multi-fuel stove inc.in rent (guests to provide wood for stove). Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking available in public and private car parks, 10 mins walk, at top of the bank. Outside area with bench. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop, pub and beach 3 mins walk. Note: This property has steep cottage stairs and restricted headroom in the eaves bedroom, care should be taken. Note: The cottage is at the bottom of a steep hill in the old village of Staithes which has cobbled streets. Note: Max 4 people.
Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
Town: The charming and sleepy seaside village of Staithes, with its cobbled streets and back alleys, is something of an artist’s dream. Its pretty houses and cottages are clustered around the old harbour and surrounded by high craggy cliffs on three sides, with a sheltered sandy beach set amongst the rocky coastline. The village can claim connections with Captain Cook who was apprenticed to a draper near the harbour. Nowadays, Staithes is a must for anyone visiting the Yorkshire Coast and has a good selection of pubs, shops and tea rooms.
