Lovely, rural gite

A lovely welcome from the owner to her rural, and delightful, gite. It was nice and clean and very well equipped with everything we needed:-the two, modern and powerful showers were an added bonus. The two nearest villages, Putanges le Lac and Briouze have everything needed for day to day shopping and don't miss a visit to the delightful, and colourful, church at Menil Gondouin.

Fantastic house in a very peaceful location. The house is equipped with all the amenities you could wish for and is beautifully finished. The beds are very comfortable. The owners are very kind. The house is advertised as accommodating 8 people, and there are indeed 8 beds. However, we think 6 people is the maximum. One small downside: the neighbors are mainly cattle. So be prepared for quite a lot of flies in the house. But overall, it is definitely highly recommended.
