About this property

Three bedrooms, three-bath beach house. Four beds (one is a single.) Secluded cove, extra lot for family outdoor games. (Do not enter empty house on extra lot.) Tastefully decorated with local artwork. Elegant and simple. Three queen-size beds with down comforters, (also non-allergenic available) one futon single bed. Upstairs bath off master bedroom has jetted tub and view. WiFi, flat-smart t.v. in living room. Custom-kitchen including dishwasher and microwave. Dining table seats six. Bar between kitchen and dining also. Large dining and living area with views to water, cove and islands. Outdoor dining and BBQ supplies provided. Kid and pet friendly. Pets are $30.00 per night. (NOTE ON RATES: This home is $475 for seven people. We charge $325 a night for two people and charge an extra $30 per night for additional people up to seven. Please indicate number of guests when filling out booking or you will get a different rate.)

Take your morning coffee and slide into the hot tub which has a view of salt-water bays, islands and mountains. ABSOLUTE QUIET IN TUB AFTER 9:00 p.m. The neighborhood is quiet. Please respect the ambiance of "the hood" especially while in the tub in the evening. Noise is amplified by the water. No food or drink in the hot tub.

Vacant lot next door offers further privacy as well as extra parking. There is a vacant house on it surrounded by a yellow "do not enter" sign. Please respect this. But the mowed lawn on this lot is available.

You will receive directions and key information from VRBO's "Welcome Guide" 3 days before check in.

PETS: MUST BE PRE-APPROVED. Maximum one pet - must be under 35 lbs and nonshedding. Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding and are $30 per night.

La Conner offers shopping, Tulip Festival in April, Art's Alive, The Farm Festival, fine restaurants and antique shopping. Nearby Anacortes offers many hiking trails and kayak rentals. Anacortes offer whale watching tours.

We are kid and pet friendly but we are not childproofed or petproofed. Children and pets must be supervised at all times, hot tub is not fenced. We are not responsible for accidents on the property, use at your own risk.

The adjoining lot (for your use) has an access-way to the beach that is public. Occasionally, rarely, it is used by the public.

Thirty (30) day cancellation notice.

Tippingrock is located across Skagit Bay from the Whidby Island Naval Air Station. The navy/air force practice formations during the week. Sometimes they are over La Conner, other times they are further south or north and we don't hear them. They do not fly Friday night, Saturday or Sunday. Some folks enjoy the formations, other don't like the noise. We want you to be informed as we never know when, or if, they will be flying (except NOT on weekends.)

Skagit Tulip festival waterfront getaway

The property is waterfront on the sound near LaConnor with beautiful views of the shore, water, and night sky. The deck had plenty of comfortable seating and a well placed hot tub with prime viewing of the shore and wildlife. We saw otters, eagles, osprey, and countless other birds every morning and evening from the deck hit tub or large windows in the dining and living areas. Kitchen was well equipped with coffee, tea, and basic pantry staples provided. The home is convenient to the Skagit valley Tulip Festival a short 15 minute drive. The festival is worth doing at a leisurely pace and when you’ve seen enough tulips, downtown LaConner has good dining options, interesting shopping options and a thriving artist community. Our dining favorites were Nell Thorne and The Fork. We spent four days at the property and enjoyed absolute privacy, peace, and natural beauty in a comfortable, secure and well appointed home. Absolutely recommend this property.

Great stay with whole family

We had a lovely weekend visit at this cozy house. It was comfortable for 6 of us including young kids. Had everything we needed, loved lounging on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub. The location was great, close to activities in La Conner but quiet and peaceful at the house. And Judy was super communicative when we had questions. Would highly recommend!

Pleasant, quiet peaceful home on the water!

We had a blast. The shore was close enough that I could stay on the patio and watch the kids play in the sand and water. Beds were super comfortable! It was so quiet and calm and perfect for our family.

Beautiful home.

Family wedding. The view is specular, the beds comfy and you cancook in the kitchen. There's a variety of art most would enjoy, and fun and beautiful mosaics.
