ER96, Squirrel's Leap, is a beautifully decorated two level log cabin in a resort setting with swimming pool privileges nestled in a natural wooded setting offering guests two bedrooms, two bathrooms, Jacuzzi, Hot Tub, and Multicade offering wooded views within minutes to all the action of the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Guests will love the feeling of being tucked away but yet close to all the action!
As you enter the main level, you will find a cozy living room with a Queen Sleeper Sofa, Recliner, Easy Chair, 60 Game Multicade Arcade Style Game, Gas Fireplace, TV, ceiling fan, and carpet. Guests will love playing “PacMan” or “Donkey Kong” while enjoying a movie or TV show! A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, bar stools, and wood flooring can be found on this level as well as a separate dining room area that has a table for 6 with wood flooring. There is even a laundry room closet that houses a stacked Washer/Dryer for guest convenience! A large bedroom with a luxurious King Bed, TV, Glider Rocker, ceiling fan, and carpet is located on this level with a full bathroom with tile flooring.
On to the upper level where you will find the Master Bedroom which has a Queen Bed, bedside Jacuzzi, TV, ceiling fan and carpet along with a private Full Bathroom that offers a stand up shower only and wood flooring.
For guests to enjoy the sounds of nature, there is a covered front deck with 4 wooden rockers and 2 ceiling fans and a covered back deck with a Gas Grill. Just a few steps away is a gazebo that is covered, screened and has lighting that houses the hot tub. Guests will love enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature while rocking in the rocking chair or relaxing in the bubbling hot tub! Location was great! Cabin was charming. Trash wasn’t taken out before we arrived. Hot tub in gazebo leaked water and gazebo has a hornets nest. Was unable to use hot tub. Foul odor coming from kitchen at night. Not sure what it was.

Just ok

Pros- the cabin was very cute. The owners decorated it well. We liked the wood detail that unique from the other cabins around it. The vintage gaming cabinet was fun. We appreciated the TV and WiFi. Appears to have new carpet. Cons- The “fully stocked” kitchen had a lot of cheap Or worn stuff which made cooking difficult. Lighting in the kitchen was low. Under sink area leaked as well as the washing machine. They came and fixed those items promptly. Under sink and inside of some cabinets was dirty. Washing machine has lots of mold in the seal and detergent drawer. The hot tub wasn’t drained and cleaned when we arrived. The upstairs jet tub had clogs of hair, etc that came out when the jets turned on. The surface areas (easiest to clean) were clean but all the cabinets, drawers, and air vents have been ignored. We were given 6 washcloths for 4 people for 5 days. Wish I had brought my own. There were no pillow covers on any pillows, just pillowcases. Sheets constantly slipped off the corners of the beds. It’s a cute cabin with lots of potential but please clean it better!
