Wonderful stay

Staying at the house was wonderful. It is a free house surrounded by large area of garden that is clearly fenced off. So your privacy is ensured. The owner of the house is very nice. She showed us everything and want us to feel at home. The beach is very close. Perfect during hot weather. If you want something more active, you can always look at those famous beaches that play an important role in WW2. The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial is very impressive.

Lovely Week in Cabourg

The owner, Marie, was lovely, she was helpful and ready to assist if needed. She gave a good overview of the house and appliances etc on arrival. There was plenty of things for when we arrived, such as towels, food stuffs, even tea and coffee, if needed. It really helped that Marie could speak English, our French is not good, so it helped that she was able to communicate with us. The house was clean, well equipped and well located. It was a short walk to the beach, the local bakery and supermarket were also within walking distance. The beach was lovely and we enjoyed the time there, it was not too crowded at that location. The garden was large enough to play games and they had a nice area to sit outside, there were also games that we could use and various other things that Marie showed us that we could use if wanted. Her hospitality was much appreciated by us. We had a great week there and as I said to Marie, I wish we had known how good it was as we would have booked for 2 weeks (we had another week in another location following our stay in Cabourg). Overall it was a good holiday and we were glad we chose to stay here. Nice for children and for grown-ups!

Das Haus war vollständig ausgestattet mit allen nötigen Dingen die man jemals brauchen könnte inklusive Verbrauchsmaterial wie Toilettenpapier, Wasch- und Geschirrspülmittel... großartig!

Großartige Unterkunft

Ein ganz tolles, schön eingerichtetes und üppig ausgestattes Haus in Strandnähe (fußläufig) mit Garten und Terrasse, alles wie beschrieben. Gut 2 km außerhalb des Stadtzentrums von Cabourg, sehr ruhig. Bäcker, Geschäfte (in Le Home-Varaville) und Supermarkt in der näheren Umgebung, am besten Fahrräder mitbringen oder leihen (Verleih direkt gegenüber). Äußerst nette Vermieterin. Wir kommen gerne einmal wieder.

sehr schöne Villa nahe des Strandes von Cabourg

wir verbrachten unseren Urlaub zusammen mit Freunden (ebenfalls eine Familie mit Kind) bei Varaville / Cabourg. Auch im August war noch Badewetter in der Normandie, die Umgebung bot immer verschiedene Aktivitäten. Das Haus samt Garten ist sehr schön gestaltet und ausgestattet, die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hatte alles notwendige für die ersten Tage bereitgestellt. Ein Urlaub mit Kindern dort bei Madame Marie ist sehr zu empfehlen.
