We had a wonderfull stay in this lovely cottage. It was nice and peacefull in beautiful surroundings. The host was warm and welcoming towards us and oud three children. We really enjoyed our stay in Normandy. Highly rcommonend this cottage!

Lovely place

This cottage is very beautiful, clean and perfect to relax and to visit cities and places in normandie. The owners are very nice as well. On the whole we had a very nice week in this cottage and we would highly recommend this accommodation.

Short summer stay

Property is excellent in a rural location central to all Normandy attractions. We was only here for 3 days but the main bonus was the outdoor space. Sylvie was a great host with excellent communication

Clean and Comfortable

Overall a good place to stay for exploring the Calvados region, a calm oasis away from the bustle of busy roads and cities/towns. Recommend Au Fil des Saisons for local eatery. Owners Slyvie and Hubert very helpful couple with some English.

We had a wonderful break at la Clé des Champs. Sylvie gave us lots of information in the run up to arrival. She welcomed us warmly late at night, which was really appreciated. The property is beautiful and well appointed. We enjoyed eating outside in the sunshine, watching the sunsets and playing ping pong. We discovered a new part of the country. Highly recommend!

Beautiful bolt hole in Normandy countryside.

A gorgeous, well situated and well equipped house in fabulous countryside. A really comfortable place to stay with everything you need to make your stay a pleasure. Sylvie and Hubert were so kind and helpful. We very much hope to return.

Incredibly beautiful accommodation

We spent 2 wonderful weeks there. The house is lovingly furnished and very well maintained. We didn't miss anything.The garden is huge. The village is small, quiet and beautifully situated. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. We could grill and play table tennis. We felt like home.

Perfect and tranquil

Great home base for an exploration of Normandy with my teenage son. Very quiet and tranquil with a wonderful yard. Immaculately clean. Kitchen well set up for simple meal prep and washing machine very handy. WiFi strong enough for a video call. Sylvie was very welcoming.

absolutely perfect

an absolutely immaculate house, where all has been thought for.your comfort and wellbeing. Sylvie and Hubert are lovely, welcoming and warm hosts. The house and garden are great as well as the amenities and the WIFI. Great location to discover the region and an easy drive to Cabourg, Beuvron en Auge, Falaise etc... The beds are super comfortable and allow a great night's sleep. I would recommend 100%.

Excellent hosts and a dreamy countryside accomodation

We‘ve spent 10 days at Sylvie‘s and Hubert‘s lovely countryside house and enjoyed every minute of it. The accomodation is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The views from the house are breathtaking and we loved to sip a glass of Cidre while watching the sun go down over the fields. Sylvie was always available and ready to help with tips when we needed her. As we were arriving late she very generously offered to leave dinner for us in the house. Her recommendations of restaurants and activities with the kids were beyond our expectation. Thank you so much, Sylvie and Hubert for the most relaxing holiday!

Belle Vie dat is het!

‘La Clé des Champs’ is located in the countryside in the Calvados region, where we enjoyed the surroundings and the coast. The house is very nice, comfortable, spacious, furnished with quality and love and super clean. A lovely shower. The master bedroom is very large with closet space for longer stays. The kitchen is extensively equipped. The extra toilet downstairs is also a plus. The garden is huge, you can find a place around the house in the sun or in the shade. We enjoyed the cordiality and hospitality of Sylvia and Hubert and their dog, the silence, the real darkness (you see a lot of stars), the beautiful surroundings and the delicious French food and drinks! We had a wonderful holiday.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub bei Sylvie und Hubert. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Für Kinder ist der tolle Garten ein Pluspunkt und für die Eltern der Blick über das Feld. Die Lage ist super für Ausflüge in die Normandie. Und am schönsten war es aber, nach einem Ausflug zurück in das komfortable Haus zu kommen und einen herrlichen Abend in dem großen Garten zu genießen. Ein Glas Cidre, warmer Wind, Sonnenuntergang in herrlicher Natur und dazu Rehe auf dem angrenzenden Feld. Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt dort. Und Sylvie und Hubert sind fantastische Gastgeber mit viel Herzlichkeit und Offenheit für neue Menschen. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Logement parfait, un must point de vue logement de vacances. Tout est fait pour se sentir comme à la maison, il ne manque de rien et acceuil chaleureux des propriétaires. Même le barbecue est prêt à être utilisé, plus qu'une allumette et le tour est joué.

Es war alles perfekt, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Der Empfang war herzlich und wir wurden zusätzlich mit selbstgemachter Marmelade und Cidre verwöhnt. Sogar Wasser war im Kühlschrank. Handtuchwechsel und Bettwäsche wurden uns auch zwischendurch gebracht. Wir waren von der Herzlichkeit und Willkommenskultur sehr berührt. Die Abendstimmung im Garten ist traumhaft, das Grundstück großzügig und wunderschön gestaltet. Absolut sehr nette Vermitter. Wir wünschen Sylvie und ihrem Mann alles Gute und weiterhin viele liebe Gäste , die sich genauso wohl fühlen wie wir es haben. Herzlichste Grüße

Un accueil chaleureux. Nous avons été sincèrement touchés par les petites attentions.Sylvie est adorable.La Maison est magnifique, extrêmement propre, fonctionnelle, tout confort ! Un immense jardin où nos petits enfants ont pu s’amuser en toute sécurité.Cabourg, Ouistreham, Argences, le château de Crève -Cœur, la ferme de Ouezy, Dives sur mer, Beuvron en Auge …..Nous avons profité au maximum de cette belle région.Nous recommandons à 200%

Ein wunderschönes, sehr gut und liebevoll ausgestattetes Häuschen in ruhiger Lage mit großem Gartenanteil. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und konnten die Schönheit der Normandie mit all ihren Facetten (auch mit Hilfe des von den Vermietern klug zusammengestellten Materials und persönlicher Tipps) gut erkunden. Sowohl das Meer als auch das Landesinnere sind bestens zu erreichen. Ein besonderer Pluspunkt ist die charmante Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit des Vermieterehepaars. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Une semaine au calme à la campagne

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine de vacances chez Sylvie et Hubert ! La maison est très propre et très agréable. Nous étions 2 adultes et deux jeunes de 11 et 14 ans, et nous avions toute la place souhaitée. Nous avons pu explorer la région (Basilique de Lisieux, Musée du Mémorial de Caen, Ornavik, Zoo de Cerza, falaises d'Etretat) et chacun des membres de la famille a trouvé une activité qui lui a plu ! A noter qu'il est nécessaire d'avoir une voiture pour visiter la région. En fin de journée, nous avons beaucoup apprécié de pouvoir voir plusieurs animaux sauvages se balader dans le champ situé derrière la maison. Une semaine chargée de nombreux moments dont nous garderons de bons souvenirs ! Merci infiniment à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse, leurs conseils et leur disponibilité ! Nous leur souhaitons une belle continuation !

Perfect !

Le séjour a été impeccable sous tous les aspects. La résidence est magnifique et est placée dans un cadre totalement paisible. L'accueil par Sylvie et son époux était particulièrement convivial. La région est pleine d'activités à faire. En somme, ma famille et moi avons vraiment apprécié notre temps passé ici. Un grand merci.
