About this property

The Green Door on Lake Avalon offers a lovely view of the lake from every window. The apartment is yours for the time you are here, with a private and secure entrance.

Sunset is an amazing time to gaze out the windows or sit out in the chair swing and enjoy the view and sounds of nature.

The claw-foot tub is a throwback in time, but provides a lovely setting to grab a glass of wine and relax.

Small kitchen in a cabinet with microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven/air fryer, and there is a small induction plug in stove if needed.

A convertible couch is available if another bed is required to accommodate 4.
Need to do laundry? A washer and dryer is available.

I do live above the apartment, in the top floor of this home, although the access is locked off from my living area. You may hear some footsteps, but we try and stay quiet.

Do note, the driveway is steep, and there is a path and steps to walk down to the wrap around deck and private entrance.

If you would like lake access, I will need to order you guest passes, as this is a private POA lake, I will need first and last names, and city and state, to order those for you.

Desert senior visitors

The place was a delight! A great change from the NM desert that is our home. Michelle was terrific and the suite was eclectic and fun. The views of lake and sky were beautiful.

Views

Michelle was a wonderful host! Even before we arrived, she made sure to check in with us. When we arrived, she greeted us and offered to help with our luggages and made sure to briefly explain some things about their property. Although, we weren’t able to kayak, she made sure to purchase one just in time for our stay — they lost one in the storm a few days before our stay. She also made sure we had everything we needed to light the fire pit, in case we wanted to have a fire, which we did! We loved everything about her property! The location was perfect and the views from the window were breathtaking. Once our baby was asleep for the night, we spent our time cozied up on the couch reading our books or doing artwork, which was also provided for guests. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a great space.

Fantastic place with a fantastic view. The owner, Michelle, is very polite, helpful and does a wonderful job maintaining the property and making you feel welcomed. The place was spotless and cozy, will definitely consider it again in the future!

Most gracious host!

This was the perfect spot for our Birthday month getaway. Adorably decorated with lots of little extras including different keurig drink options. Michelle went above and beyond to exceed our expectations as the most gracious host! We hope to visit again when it's not raining but we enjoyed the beautiful lake view and relaxation.

The neighborhood is quiet and the house is lower than the street, so it is very private. Just a few steps down to the dock and fun on the lake! We do have a pontoon and we are happy to take our guests out for a fun time on the lake.
