Renter beware !!
Although the house is beautiful, the renter experience was TERRIBLE!! We were charged an extra person fee although we had less people than the listing advertised. Overall cost was more than double the advertised nightly rate with high unexplained host fees! Check-in was difficult - need a specific app and have to wait on a link sent to 1 phone to get access to front door dead bolt, and that phone was required to open the door each time, which is inconvenient for a group. Upon arrival the spa was freezing even though the listing said it was heated. Told we had to turn on the spa to get heat, so we were unable to use our first night. THEN, tried to charge us TWICE for pool heat - Upon arrival, told to Zelle payment for pool heat (at higher rate) even though we had paid for pool heat when booked. Very few instructions on using the house provided. Lots of cameras. We reported finding a loose piece at the large pool umbrella and owner was rude, accused us of having broken it even though we hadn’t used umbrellas or pool yet. Owner made a claim against insurance we purchased and got a lot of money even though it was broken upon our arrival. Also issues with clogged toilets and slow draining tubs. TO TOP IT ALL OFF, the listing checkout was 11am, but next renter showed up @ 10am, overlapping our reservation-which was UNPLEASANT experience-we quickly packed and left. Owner said he sent a checkin letter that said 10am checkout so we should have been out. AND IT HADN'T BEEN CLEANED.
