The place was perfect! Super clean with all the basics you’d need in kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Check in/out was smooth and simple and James and Wendy were very helpful. The location is perfect for skiing, hiking and going into town. Would for sure stay here again!

If you are young and athletically inclined, I imagine this ski-in and out condo would get high reviews. We are retirees who were rather stunned when faced with many flights of steps to reach the door (that ice chest and those suitcases got heavier by the step). The views were great and the unit was well-supplied. We found it to be dated and somewhat cramped. The aspens were outstanding.

Buttes 509 is a ski-in/ski-out mountain condo, and we do make a point of noting in both our listing and arrival instructions that access requires two outdoor staircases, with no elevator available. We offered to help with your luggage, which you declined. We hope you enjoyed your time in Crested Butte.

Great location, and really well set up for skiing. We really liked the entry foyer for storing all of our ski gear, and the place was cozy and comfortable for our family of 6. Ski right out to Silver Queen and Red Lady. Not fancy, but super functional.

Great location on the ski hill

If you want ski in / ski out this places fits the bill. Nothing fancy but everything worked and you were 30 ft from the slopes.

Has everything for a great family ski trip

3rd stay in this property and we’ll keep coming back! Property has all the kitchen supplies, great sized mud room, 2 bedrooms (upstairs), 2 full bathrooms (one up, one down), comfortable living and beds, true ski in and ski out (even for young kids), cannot say enough great things about this place!

The condo is well furnished and very convenient to the slopes. Even with dearth of snow this year, it was a short walk to the slope where we could put on our skis and ski to the lift. At the end of the day we could ski off the slopes and to the front door of the condo.

Just as great the second time

We had stayed in this condo two years ago and when looking for a family ski vacation decided to return to what we knew and loved. The location to the slopes and village just can’t be beat. The condo is roomy, homey and the beds are so comfortable.

Great place

We rented this condo for our pastor for our daughter's wedding. Although I didn't personally see it, they had nothing but great things to say about their stay! The communication with the owner was great! Based on all the praise, we would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks you!

Spring Break - 2025

Great location - Skiing right to the condo was awesome. Unloading the car and walking to the condo from the parking lot was a little challenging but the price to pay for the ski in/ski out luxury. It was really hard finding a place that had this option in Crested Butte.

Our original booking got flooded from the unit next door and Wendy and James immediately got us booked into another unit and moved all our stuff for us. They did everything to minimize the hassle and inconvenience resulting from a situation that was triggered by the other unit (which wasn't one of their units).

Everything we needed

Our family enjoyed 2 nights in this beautiful condo. Great views of mountains from our balcony. Everything was very tastefully furnished, clean and amenities were as described. So close to hiking trails that we enjoyed for 2 days,and just 3 minute drive to Crested Butte shops and restaurants. Only negative was the front door locking and unlocking. It was very difficult to operate.
