We had booked time with this house, with help from the owner (Ania). She could not be more patient and helpful. We heartfully recommend this house, as it has a "central location", is clean, laid out well, has just about everything you need, and most of the fixtures are new.
Linens and towels are available, and were helpful. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with dual sinks (helpful). 4 bedrooms upstairs, so it's roomy enough for a larger family. Kitchen is very good, and has all the little things you would expect.
Backyard has some size to it, longer vs. deep, and also a small fire pit as well. The grill was also a nice to have, as we used it often. House AC is strong.
Like any house in this area, you would need about 15 minutes to get anywhere; same goes for here. However, this is centrally located so you're right in between Watch Hill (Beverly Hills meets Rhode Island beach; recommended!) and Narragansett (great area and beaches are good) / Block Island ferry. Also, directly south is Charlestown Beach; we didn't go there, but that is on the list for next time. Newport is about 35-40 minutes away and is a nice day trip. Also nearby is Misquamicut, Watchaug Beach and Blue Shutters.
The only caveat I could think of was that since there are bushes off the decks and the treeline is close to the house, there are your usual bugs at night. Not bad, but noticeable. Citronella candles helped a bit.
Overall, compared to other houses this is a great bang for your buck, and Anna was very helpful. We were not "grizzled" house rental veterans, so we had our share of questions - however she was responsive and helped when needed. Recommended!!
