An amazing place to stay.

We stayed for a week as a family of 9 (3 generations, 6 adults, 2 teens and a 4year old). Everyone loved the house, its amazing facilities and equipment, the extensive grounds and the quiet country location that’s close to Sarlat and many of the interesting places to visit in the Dordogne. The owners were lovely too.

Stunning house in a perfect location

The pictures do not come close to doing this beautiful spot justice. A wonderful combination of original architecture and features with modern comforts. The ideal spot to have total peace and isolation while only being moments from the highlights of the Dordogne. Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome in their home.Thank you so much!

Great house, location and hosts

We visited in summer 2023 with 9 of us staying for 2 weeks. The house is really well set up for bigger parties and the facilities are really comprehensive (there was even charcoal for the barbecue provided!). Outside space was great for our family that ranged in age from 12 to 70’s with lots of activities and spaces to eat and sit too. Everything is of a good standard and whilst the hosts live on site they were incredibly helpful when needed and invisible when not. The perfect combination. Would really recommend.

Alles aan dit huis en het grote domein was fantastisch. Het huis is mooi, ruim en gezellig. Het domein errond was prachtige natuur met een riviertje en een vijver. Je moet wel rekening houden dat je redelijk veel de buitentrap moet nemen om buiten te eten aan de grote tafel en om je naar het zwembad of de tuin te begeven. Dus voor kleine kindjes of mensen slecht ter been is het niet ideaal.

Location de caractère

Une très belle belle bâtisse de caractère, des chambres toutes équipées de leur salle d’eau et WC , une location pour des vacances de Noël qui nous a permis de profiter en famille du calme de la bâtisse mais également de la région avec ses nombreuse activités ouvertes l’hivers. Tout cela combiné avec des hôtes à l’écoute mais surtout serviables et accueillants. Habitués des vacances de Noël à la montagne nous avons été agréablement surpris de nos vacances en Dordogne dans ce magnifique Moulin . On reviendra l’été essayer la piscine !!!

Wonderful property in a spectacular setting

We had a fabulous week staying at Le Moulin. Sylvette and JC are amazing and gracious hosts. The property is very well equipped with all mod cons in terms of technology. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the beds are super comfy. The setting is spectacular. Very peaceful and beautiful. We could hear owls hooting at night and horses are grazing just across from the pool. Highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed our week's stay in the mill. It was very comfortable and had all we needed inside and out. It's very quiet but well located five minutes from the nearest village in one direction and Sarlat for supermarkets in the other. It's an easy drive to many of the most interesting sites in the Dordogne region. Sylvette and Jean-Christophe looked aftrer us very well. Merci.

Etre ailleurs sans être loin...

Voilà un séjour dont on a apprécié les moindres instants. Le cadre, l'ancien moulin, le jardin immense, le chuchotement de l'eau, la mare aux libellules, et surtout le calme, nous ont fait rapidement oublier le stress du quotidien ! Un écrin de verdure

Excellent séjour dans une partie de ce superbe moulin, en attendant que l'ensemble soit rénové. La propriété en pleine nature et très calme, le logement est confortable, les propriétaires sont sympathiques sans être intrusifs, la piscine est agréable, l'emplacement est idéal pour des excursions tourisme et nature sans trop de temps dans la voiture. Un plus non négligeable : on trouve des supermarchés et la gare de Sarlat à moins de 10 minutes. Super adresse !
