The condo does not have air conditioning; there are three ceiling fans and generous Hawaiian louver windows for ventilation
Price shown includes Hawaii taxes - General Excise Tax and Transient Accommodations Tax. Your only other charge from us is a once per stay cleaning charge.

Our condo is in a rural location for exploring remote, less developed and less visited parts of the Big Island. We are the closest (only) resort condos to Volcanoes National Park. Drive from our beachfront location to the higher elevation park entrance in about 30 minutes. You will find the real Hawaii because you will be in the real Hawaii!

As of 2022, the current average hotel room price for a non-ocean view room on the Big Island is $260/ night plus tax. The Ocean View average hotel rate is now over $400 a night. We hope you'll agree that our ocean view condo, at far less than half the average nightly hotel rate (non ocean view!) is a wonderful value.
