The home is very clean, secluded, cozy, and has a great view from the back Lanai. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is close to the green and black sand beaches, and not to far from Volcanoes National Park and the Captain Cook monument. The temperatures are moderate at this elevation with nice breezes from the trade winds. The host was very kind, friendly and very responsive to our needs.The property has everything you need to make meals and even has a propane BBQ on the Lanai. Off Grid Hideaway
Lovely private spot to live like a local. Get away from the touristy areas. Not fancy, but has everything you need. (No microwave). Ed was a great host and a fountain of knowledge for spots we would never have found on our own. Highlight is the shower looking out over the trees and feeling like you’re in the forest.
