Ideally located on the unspoiled southeastern coastline of Hawaii's Big Island, the Turtle Paradise is a spacious Polynesian-style condo for your dream vacation in Hawaii.

The Turtle Paradise is a true one-bedroom condo, not a studio. It has two full levels: level one includes the foyer, bedroom, and bath; level two is the great room, which runs the entire width of the unit and comprises the living room, dining room, full kitchen, and full-length lanai. The great room has soaring vaulted, wooden beamed ceilings and ceiling fans in both the living and dining rooms. The lanai has two beautiful teak dining tables and seating for four.

—a fully-stocked kitchen with new appliances, including a full-size refrigerator and range, microwave, coffee maker and grinder, rice cooker, toaster, and more
—top quality beach chairs, a beach umbrella, mats and coolers

The condo was extremely charming! The instructions regarding arrival were extremely clear and they left is with zero questions. The condo it selfwas clean and very charming. The location was perfect. The black sand beach is less than a 5 min walk and very stunning. Volcano National apark was less than 30 min away. The pool was crisp and refreshing and the hot tub was delightful. I would definitely recommend as well as return! Just loved it!

We absolutely loved everything about our 10 days in the condo. It was within minutes of a gorgeous black sand beach. The condo is beautiful, with everything we needed. The area is quiet and peaceful. It truly felt like paradise!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay. This is the first time we have stayed outside of Kona. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending. We enjoyed our moring walk on Black Sand Beach watching the turtles play in the surf and lay in the sun. The grounds were beautiful and the pool and hot tub were nice. I would recommend staying here.

Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The condo is very clean and had everything we needed. It's in a great location for Volcano National Park, South Point and Black Sand Beach, plus and easy drive to Hilo. We would definitely recommend it.

Loved our stay!

We very much enjoyed staying here for 2 weeks! It had everything we needed for our time in the condo and lots available to us for our daily excursions - cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, etc. It's a beautiful home in a very nice complex, which is a short walk to a fabulous black sand beach. The pool and hot tub were so nice! We would love to return some day!

We enjoyed our stay! It is a remote location but we new that before we stayed. The black sand beach next door and sea turtles were wonderful. Loved the Hawaiian bakery a few miles away and being 30 minutes from Volcano NP. Great value for a secluded vacation

Unexpected gem

We loved our visit. The place has everything you need (all well labeled and easy to find). The place was clean and in order. We felt ‘at home’. I would definitely stay here again (and for a longer time). We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the morning watching the white caps on the ocean, listening to the birds, and enjoying the calm.

Black sand beach escape

My family of 4, including to kids ages 7 & 9, enjoyed this condo for 3 nights. The grounds and the condo are great! Easy to get to black sand beach, which was great for snorkeling but rocky so bring water shoes. My 7 year old was amazed snorkeling with the turtles. This was a great price and great condo!

So Nice We Had To Stay Again!!

We had such a wonderful stay during Easter weekend, that we had to go back and will continue to go back for as long as the owners will allow! Lol. It really is a wonderful condo. I almost don’t want to brag about it too much because there won’t be anymore dates available to reserve! Seriously though, you’ll be pleased with everything about this place.

Away from everything- just what we wanted

This place is out of the way - which is what we wanted. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. It also very dark if you love stargazing. We got amazing pictures of stars with our iPhones. Day trips to Kona and Hilo areas are perfectly manageable, but we spent several days just soaking up the black sand beach, drinking coconut milk and watching sea turtles. Accommodations were exactly as described.

Beautiful condo with Manicured Grounds.

This condo complex is very well taken care of. The interior is gorgeously decorated in Island style. It isn't in a city area but there is limited shopping nearby. The condo has everything you need to cook meals, even spices and oil. Our contact, DeAubrey, was very responsive to all our needs.

Much Needed Weekend Getaway

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, weekend getaway and it’s specifically because of the absolutely amazing unit that we stayed in. My daughter, grandson and I live less than 10 mins away in Pahala. We own a coffee shop there called, “AunTee’s.” We decided to change it up a bit this Easter and wanted to get away, yet still be close to home. Soooo flippin’ happy to find this unit was available. We scored!!! The owners were extremely kind and accommodating and the decor is so gorgeous. It’s well-equipped with everything you could ever need. The ceiling fans made the inside temp perfect and we were sad to leave. Definitely going to do this again! Mahalo, mahalo!! Amy, Tia and Levin ❤️❤️❤️

Fully furnished get away

This condo was very nice and stocked with everything we could have wanted. We greatly enjoyed the black sand beach and watching the turtles each day!! It was awesome to have beach chairs to use. We appreciated DeAubrey’s suggestions for things to do. This unit is an hour outside of Hilo and even further from Kona, so there is a lot of driving involved to experience things. The only thing I would suggest is letting the renters know there is no A/C! I never thought to ask if the unit had a/c because everywhere on the mainland has a/c. It was very hot and muggy despite having all the fans going. We had a tough time sleeping because we couldn’t get cool.

My husband and I lived in Oahu, Hawaii when my husband was in the Army. We always dreamed of retiring on the Islands but never thought it would be possible, but dreams do come true! We haven't retired yet but this will be our home someday and until then we want to share it with you.

Why they chose this property

We found this complex when visiting the Big Island in 2015. We stayed in a condo like this one and fell in love with the area. We were drawn to this part of the island, a little more laid back. The beach is in walking distance, the pool and hot tub are great and the location was just perfect.

What makes this property unique

Sea Colony is ideally located between Hilo and Kona. We are walking distance to Punaluu Black Sands Beach. We are close to Volcano National Park, Green Sands Beach, South Point, Coffee Farms, and much more. We are a quiet community with the sound of the ocean and birds heard daily. Very relaxing, no need to leave the area either. Walk to the beach, come home to a meal or grill at the pool. Jump in the pool and end the day at the hot tub. Then back to the condo to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean.
