Overall a beautiful place with so many accommodations. We visited during the hurricane, and there was a tree down in the driveway blocking our exit. The owner and his kids got the tree out of the way in no time. Everything was clean and convenient for all of us and not to far from convenience stores. Mahalo for the stay.
This house was in a fun, more remote, south side of the island. We stayed there two nights to visit South Point, the green beach, as well as Volcano National Park, (which was about an hour for this home). The place was clean and updated. There was no air-conditioner, but it got cool enough at night that this wasn’t a problem. There were also no TV’s, which didn't bother us, as it sort of added to the remote, island neighborhood feel. It was fun to hear the birds and frogs come out at night, as well.
