Our stay was wonderful and quite. The ohana property is now solar, so that was important to us and happy he decided to commit to sustainability of Hawaii's resources. We missed out on the whirlpool open, which was one of the reasons for our stay, but priced reasonably for our needs and still very pleased.

Beautiful view of the mountain. Must drive to the beaches. No hot tub but lots of fresh local flowers and fruits! Lovingly landscaping in progress! Host was very helpful with local info.

Quaint and quiet!

We enjoyed staying in this cute little home in a very quiet out of the way town. It was peaceful and the hosts were helpful and gracious. It was halfway to Kona and halfway to Hilo so good location. Be aware that there is no beach or swimming nearby. You have to drive at least 30 minutes to get to a beach. But for us it was great since we wanted to do lots of sightseeing.
