Come and unwind in the peaceful sleepy valley of Raurimu, away from the snow and wind of National Park. Enjoy a high pressure hot shower after a day of untold adventures in the Central North Island. Enjoy the open plan living of Das Jäger, and relax next to the fire or in the TV lounge watching a DVD.

Das Jager boasts a large living area, while still providing bedding for up to 11 people in 3 bedrooms.

House layout
There are 3 bedrooms 2 lounges, and 2 bathrooms. The living area is open plan.

Bedroom 2: double bunk bed and a single bunk bed
Bedroom 3: king single bunk bed and a double bed

Enjoy preparing meals in the spacious entertainer's kitchen without being cut off from the social activities.

Clean your adventure clothes in the laundry (off the main bathroom), and dry your clothes quickly over the fire on our custom built drying rack. Dry your ski/snowboarding boots using our custom made boot drying rack.

Linen
Linen is NOT provided, we ask guests to bring their own sheets, hand towels, towels, and tea towels. There are pillows and a light duvet on each bed. I

Whakapapa skifield is 20 minutes drive by car, and Turoa is approximately 45 minutes by car.

Perfect holiday accomodation for a snow trip! Lots of firewood to keep the house toasty, comfy beds. Loved the ingenious boot warmer devices and drying rack pulley next to the wood burner.

The house is very well situated for NationalPark activities . It’s very comfortable and cosy and the firewood was most welcome . Spacious and practical living space and kitchen . Unfortunately sheets and towels are not generally provided- a major disadvantage at short notice if not travelling directly from home . However hosts kindly organised towels for us but we had to buy several sets of sheets . Once settled we thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Thank you .

Peaceful, away from the hustle & bustle. Very close to the ski fields. Certain shops available, but resort prices. Specially fuel.House is warm, once you work out how the system works (instructions provided).

Great mountain house

The house has lots of character as a simple and cosy mountain lodge. It's rightly recommended for a group of adults/friends for those days at the mountain. The kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances in good condition.
