Really glad to hear that you enjoyed the facilities at our place and had a great family holiday. Thanks for looking after the place and we hope to host you again in the future.
We had an amazing stay at this Rangiputa bach. We loved the location, it was perfect for launching the boat and there was amazing fishing nearby. The place was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing break. Darren was a fantastic host, friendly and easy to communicate with, which made the stay even better. Waking up to the views and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was a real highlight. Would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

Thanks for respecting our place and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to hosting you again in the future.
We had a lovely stay here. Rangiputa is a fabulous location - easy to launch the boat in 2 locations. Darren, the host, was super easy to deal with, instructions were 100% and he went out of his way to find out about kite boarding locations for my husband - which were spot on.
We had a fantastic stay and very relaxing as it was so easy to deal with Darren, the bach was super and no stress!

Thank you for your kind comments. It is a pleasure to hear that others enjoy Rangiputa as much as we do.
Very disappointing, basic items not supplied and randomly charged us for extras without discussion
I wouldn’t recommend this property. Dishonest property manager / cleaner.
We got charged for extras without consultation or quotes. No shower gel or soap supplied, toilet paper nearly run out meaning we supplied this and left extra for next guests. Very disappointed.

11 out of 12 reviews have given us 5 stars. We do supply liquid hand soap but have never supplied shower gel. We could have supplied more toilet paper if we had been asked to. The property manager reported that the cleaning for this group took an extra 1.5 hours than the usual 2.5, rubbish was left inside the house instead of in the supplied bags and opened food had been left. The guests texted to say that the range hood had come off the runners and was an easy fix. However, the range hood had been completely broken and the property manager said that it looked like a 5 year old had been swinging on it. The damage deposit is very unlikely to cover the extra costs and to repair or replace the range hood.
Beautiful location, tidy and modern place. (Backyard is the perfect size for a volleyball net). Will definitely be visiting the area again.

About the host
Hosted by Darren
My wife and I are both teachers working in Auckland, New Zealand. We love to travel and have visited a wide range of countries.
I trained as a Marine Biologist and the ocean is my passion so I love to dive and fish and the Rangiputa area is excellent for this.
Why they chose this property
We travelled to whole of New Zealand in a camper van and when we found Rangiputa we knew this was the perfect place for us.
We purchased a section in 2008 and had the holiday home designed and built to make the most of the beach lifestyle in 2009.
We love the peace and quiet and the beautiful beaches in the area.
What makes this property unique
Easy to park, launch and retrieve your boat. Beautiful scenery (known as the Fiji of NZ) and fantastic fishing.
