Puka Bach - Paradise On Your Doorstep

Puka Bach is a classic kiwi bach with stunning sea views and access to beautiful Tokerau Beach directly opposite. This 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom bach sits at the end of a no exit beach front street - no traffic and absolute tranquility with 17kms of white sand beach and sand dunes on your doorstep.

Modern open plan kitchen/dining/lounge with epic views.

Large covered entertainers deck with all afternoon and evening sun. Fully fenced and great for fishing, children and pets. Boats/cars can be secured behind fence on concrete pad by filleting station, or plenty of room on front lawn behind lockable front gate.

Some of the best beaches in NZ are within a few minutes drive (see photos). Carrington international golf course, vineyard and winery are 5 minutes drive. 90 minutes to Cape Reinga and Te Paki Giant Sand Dunes. 20 minutes to Ancient Kauri Museum in Awanui, 25 minutes to Kaitaia. Surrounded by world class fishing spots.

Quality beds, mattresses, linen and pillows. Upstairs Queen bedroom opens to sea view and deck. 2nd bedroom has Dbl Bunk bottom, Sgl Bunk top + Rollaway Bed.

Lounge has large curved leather sofa with full recliners at both ends, Smart TV streaming, SKY TV (Movies/Sport/On-demand), DVD, Stereo (connect your device) and Unlimited Ultra-fast WiFi (Fibre).

Downstairs has 3 bedrooms (2 x Queen and Dbl Bunk bottom, Sgl Bunk top + Rollaway Bed and TV/Chromecast, 1 bathroom, 1 games room with TV/DVD/Chromecast, table tennis and 4 airbeds. Downstairs is separate with its own fridge, chest freezer, microwave, jug, TV, etc. - perfect for multiple families on holiday together.

Also provided - 2 kayaks (suit fishing and taking kids out), Plenty of outdoor furniture and loungers, BBQ, Best quality 16 foot Springfree tramp (big as they come), outdoor hammock, high chair, portacot. We have 3 children, so they're well catered for and plenty to keep them entertained!

Smoking is permitted OUTSIDE only.

Linen, towels and cleaning on departure are included.

Puka Bach

Unfortunately the weather was dreadful and didn't get to enjoy the beautiful beach on our doorstep. We found the house comfortable, great location. If the weather had been better we would have love to use the kayaks, boogie boards etc. We enjoyed playing table tennis though.We would love to return in better weather.

Puka Bach - Perfect

Puka Bach was the perfect get away for us, the amazing beach right on your doorstep was exactly as the pictures portrayed. Perfect size for the 5 of us to enjoy the sunrises, read and play cards!

We had a wonderful holiday!

We had fantastic communication from Grant, who was so friendly and helpful. The home is lovely, neat and tidy with a stunning view and a peaceful vibe. Just a short walk across the road and you are on a beautiful beach. There is a great range of games as well as a smart TV with every channel you could possibly need to relax during the evenings. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us, we had a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay. The bach has everything you need, lots of space and great for our dog. Views and beach at your doorstep. Lovely and quiet at the end of the road. Communication was excellent and access was hassle free. We would definitely stay again!

Location is stunning and home is welcoming

This location is sheer perfection, a short walk to a huge warm sandy beach! 😍 The home itself was really lovely upstairs, was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It really felt so cozy, a home away from home. The only downside is the downstairs was very damp and the bathroom passway wasn’t very nice - but overall that was very minimal to our stay. Our family would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great beach getaway with the most amazing sunrises you’ll ever see!

we had a great stay at Grant's place, the views from the deck are fantastic in Addition to the short hop across the road to the beach and it was a good setup for our little family, I would describe the setup as your typical quintessential kiwi bach. The addition of a washing machine and dryer was a nice bonus for our little family considering we were staying a week. The house would be perfect for two families however would be tight on space if you housed 15 adults particularly if you want space and if the weather is bad, other than that all good, Grant's communication was excellent.

Puka Bach is a great place right on Tokerau Beach, ideally placed to enjoy the Karikari Peninsular and its beautiful beaches as well as explore the far North. We had a wonderful time.

Superb location, communication with Grant was a breeze. Highly recommend this bach!

No issues whatsoever apart from a few ants in the kitchen which Grant has already sorted. Informed him of them and he was straight onto sorting it. Only big issue was that we didn’t stay longer! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Perfect

We stayed with our baby and 2 dogs. The beach is right outside and great for walking and fishing. A good base for exploring the area the house was so clean and had all the mod cons, fantastic appliances and very large. Thank you for having us Grant!

Amazing family house

This is perfect for a group of family’s we had the best time even though the weather wasn’t the best the house accommodated us all inside. Plenty of deck and outdoor options available. We will definitely be back

Fantastic? Doubtless!

As three families wanting a get together at the school holidays, we were very well served by this lovely property. It is fantastically located next to the gorgeous beach and has great living spaces indoors and out. Only challenge was food storage and kitchen space if part of your group needs their own specific kai - but an awesome bach!
